Received 3 calls from this number and they do not leave a message. My voice mail says to leave a message because I will not answer calls from numbers I do not know.

Called to sell me some magazines

Caller did not leave a message.  When I called back the recording said leave your name and the number that was called to get off the mailing list.  I simply blocked the number from my ever calling me again.

Persistent - 7 calls on my called ID from this number in 26 hours

I have started receiving 2 to 4 calls from this number per day.  Reverse look up indicates that the calls are originating from Ashokie, NC in the northeastern corner of North Carolina, population 4000.  Furthermore Google maps track the number to a residence in the vicinity of Academy and North Streets in Ashokie.  Time to block the number.

Got five calls from it today.  Didn't answer a single one.  Plan to receive more soon after hearing about their persistence.

I had received at least 7 calls within the last 7 days and decided to pick up today just to hear what they would say. A man asked me for "Mary." I told him he had the wrong number, to which he replied, "May I please speak to Mary?" I again said that he had the wrong number. Then he said, "No, no. Could you please tell Mary that her grandson called?" Finally I hung up.
