- JennaThey call all the time trying to talk to our IT department. DON'T let them talk to anyone... been harrassing our emplyees.
- Joe VuThis is a "stalker" company. They Harrass our IT department all the time.
- Caller: Zones Inc.
- Da BizHere's their site if you want more info:
http://www.zones.com/site/statics/static_page ... actus&zone=corp - Spciy BurritoPure harrassment. They have been calling me for many months, usually multiple times a day. I never answer, I know it's a sales call -- they don't leave messages. For fun I've started picking up the phone and hanging up on them, or alternatively I will press the 'drop call' button right away when I see their number. These actions do not deter them however, they keep calling and calling and calling...
My phone can display my last 30 missed calls, and right now "Zones" accounts for 16 of them!
Needless to say, whatever service they provide, my company will never be using it.- Caller: Zones Inc.
- BobThe Zones marketing team can definitely be persistent, that's for sure. However, we do business with them from time to time, and they have worked out really well for us. They're prices are generally pretty good and they deliver quickly.
We are actually considering moving our Microsoft agreements from our current VAR over to them.- Caller: Zones, Inc.
- Not So annyoying| 1 replyI actually took their call. They are very nice people. Yes, they are an IT company but as an IT guy I wasn't so happy with my re-seller to begin with. So I asked this company to send me some pricing. I went to their site and they are legit and seem to be big time. Anyway, If you don't want them calling you just answer the phone when they call and tell them you don't want them to call! If you ignore their calls they will keep calling!

- GlobalEnglish Corporation| 2 repliesFor the past four years, this company with phone number 253-205-3000 calls at least three times a day, five days a week. They are phone stalkers to the IT department.
- ZonesHaterThis place sucks. They call over and over even when you tell them you're not interested.

- Jane Doe| 2 repliesI actually work for Zones, Inc and as an employer, they are an awesome company! Most of my customers appreciate me 'stalking' them because I have saved them thousands of dollars in IT over the years. As the previous comment said, if you dont want to talk to me or Zones, answer the phone and tell me/us that. I certainly appreciate that my customers and IT managers are busy and appreciate it when you are honest and upfront with me as I am with you. I will agree with you that some reps can be annoying and a little overbearing. But out of 700 of us, I guarantee it is not all of us. We have been around since 1986 and are an extremely successful company. We earned it. We call you because it is our JOB. Give Zones a chance, you will never be sorry you were 'stalked' by us. I promise.

- Whatever| 1 replyTo Jane Doe...
Tell your employer to leave messages then.
I NEVER answer a # I dont recognize, then I google it. If they dont leave a message, then I will never answer the call in the future.
If they leave a message, then I use my research to determine if I want to take the time.
We are way to busy to get tied up with a bunch of cold-calls.- Caller: Zones
- BillZones is a great company. I'm the computer hardware purchasing agent for a software developer. I have ordered several HP laptops from Zones for my fellow employees.
- Annoyed| 2 repliesIn the last month I have received over 22 calls from this company. When they are announced by the front desk I ask that the call be placed in my voice mail. Every single time they hang up before leaving a message. The sad part is if they left a message I would call them back but since they didn't I assume they are an unprofessional company because they don't have the common decency to leave a message. I am too busy to take calls from unknown people but will call them back if I have an interest in their service.
Had they left a message I might have done business with them. Now that I see their number coming up time after time I can't be bothered with them. I am thinking of blocking their number in our phone software since I also do the programming for it as well as our IT needs.- Caller: zones.com
- Bigz| 1 replyAnnoyed by the daily calls too, have asked dozens of times over the past year for them to stop calling and still get calls, they quit calling me directly and now ask for anybody in the IT dept, today I put their number on our drop list so no more calls from them, but I'm sure they will start calling from another number.
As to Zones being a good reseller their prices aren't any better than other large resellers and they won't discount as much to us as our current reseller... so they are usless to us... all they are doing is cold calling/telemarketing and annoying us.- Caller: Zones
- Yeah right replies to AnnoyedWould you have called back really....... Doubt it when people leave messages that is just a way for the call to be avoided in the future
- Yeah right replies to BigzHope your girlfriend at your other var treats you well becuase I am pretty sure that is why you dont take any Zones calls. Lets be real if you just talked to the people and let them know you have something else in place then they would not call. You are to afraid to upset whoever you are talking dirty to at the var you work with that is why you dont take the calls......
- ChrisI am glad I answered that call 3 years ago, I have had the same rep since then and he does a great job for me. Prices are fair and delivery is always on time and being that I am a smaller company I am never made to feel like I am not important like I was getting from some of Zones competitors

- None replies to Not So annyoyingB.S. How long have you worked for them?
They called, I told them we weren't interested, and to remove us from their list. They call a week later, same thing. A week later, AGAIN. I simply hung up. I then added them to our phone system blacklist - when they call they get a "Your call cannot be completed" error message. Yet they still call, often 5 times a day. - la di replies to GlobalEnglish Corporation| 1 replySo your saying that for 4 years that you have been called my that company? They are calling you to do business with you? The only way they get to do this is if they are the best priced and you like the person your talking to right? Sounds to me like your doing yourself a disservice by not letting them save you money on things that you buy with specials that come up from time to time. I'm just currious how you got your job when you choose not to pick up your phone when someone calls offering you savings on product that your tasked with buying regardless.
- SteveIn reading through these replies, I can't help but wonder if one of their stalking tactics is to seed message boards like this with positive comments about the company. There are far too many in a forum like this to be believable.
- Not interested. replies to Jane Doe| 1 replyDear Jane Doe,
If you were so happy and proud of your job and employer, then use your name, what do you have to hide....? Further more, being secretive about your name leads me to believe your not being as honest as you claim to be and/or have something to hide.
