they called up my mother yesterday saying that they were from SBC ATT, Snet and Cingular, and gave out some fake ss number and asked my mother if that was her number, she said no. then they told her that she owes $178 for an unpaid phone bill and that she had to pay it now. well she said that she didn't owe anything and this guy starts yelling at her. she hung up and called the cops and the cops said that it some sort of scam. ps my father works for the phone company and checked to see if someone from the company called and no one did.

call this afternoon at 4:20.
I did not answer it since I do not recognize this number.

I have gotten abour 6-8 calls from this company and are afraid to call it back in case it is a over seas scam. I have looked at my credit report and nothing is on it. What should I do?

If you try to call back this number you will get i'm sorry you call can not be completed as dialed...please make sure the number is correct and try again.

this number keeps showing up on my cell phone in the caller id area....and when you answer it...no one says anything...dead air...when you call it ...you get a message like the number cannot be reached or is out of service...sometimes also on my home phone but mostly on cell phone....how do i stop this and how can they call me but i cannot reach whoever it is....it is really annoying......please someone help...

we received a call today from this number, saying that they were Allied Interstate and were calling in regards to an outstanding debt.  We were asked to return the call to 866-429-7611.  When we did, they wanted our social security numbers.

I started receiving calls from this number the beginning of April. They have called my house and now they are calling my cell phone.  I have got 8 phone calls from them today on my cell phone while at work.

I keep getting calls from 253-218-3451.  I don't answer the phone and they never leave a message.  I have even blocked the number, but the calls keep coming thru.

Same thing. Keep getting calls from this number 253-218-3451 and when I answer they hang up and when it goes to the machine they leave a long dead air message taking up valuable space on my answering machine.  I figure it is a scam.  I wouldn't answer unless you feel like telling the dead air off.

According to White pages it is coming from a land line on A Street SW near Main Street in Auburn, WA.

This is a scam to get your SS#.  These crooks usually imply they are from Allied International or got a call from them or some other company.  These crooks should be stopped. SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Someone called me last night with a recorded message saying they were from allied services, and I needed to call a number about a debt.  I don't owe any debts so I ignored it.  The same people called again tonight and said I needed to call a number but did not have a pen nearby.  The number on the caller ID showed (253)218-3451 so I googled it and found this site.  I feel better knowing it is just a scam, because I was starting to worry a little bit.

This number has not called my house but they call my husbands x-wife and asked for me by name and they also called my work number at night and left a message about trying to collect an old debt.  How can they know to call people I know is it illegal to call everyone I know and give them my name saying they are trying to collect an old debt doesn't seem right to me!!!!!

When you call the corporate office you will get a curt woman named Mindy who will hang up on you if you say anything that she doesn't like. She will refer you to a Consumer Advocate # - 800-811-4214 - which is answered by an answering machine. The woman's name is unintelligible and I doubt that the number is ever answered.

Mr. Kapoor's home phone number has been terporarily disabled (gee, I wonder why). Everyone should call this man and his company and give them a taste of their own medicine.

Keep getting calls. I don't owe any debts, but I got worried. I decided to google the number...thanks god I found out it  is a scan...is anything that can be done to stop these crooks!!!

I missed the call but I wanted to report it.  I will not be calling them back.

I received a call from this number today. They left a message for me to call back so I did. They didn't ask for a ss# or any info except the number that they had called, I repeated my number to them and they said they were trying to reach a lady who had my cell number before me. I told them that the number they had was not for her and she took my number off the registry for that person. Hopefully I will not receive anymore calls for this person. It was from a debt collecter

I get calls from this at least once every day. I never pick it up, and I'll always always get a voicemail saying that it is Allied Interstates, and that I have debts or something. I never call back. But I got so fed up I googled the number and found this!

Anyone have any idea as to how to stop them from calling? It's really annoying.
