Received phone call today from this number for a company claiming to be Tech Solutions, Hired by Microsoft to track down and identify everyone with the csrss.exe virus.  Thick Indian accent - noisy room - urgency in his tone.

I thanked him and told him I would take care of removing it myself.  He began to insist that he had to remove it remotely from his end - and began giving directions.  I hung up.  

He called back 3 times ( I didn't answer).

I had the same call just now. Indian accent. I asked for the name of his business but he said that they didn't have a name and that he was calling because my computer "is going to crash in just a few minutes." Its a scam. Please report this to the BBB so that they can be caught and shut down.

My mom got a call from this number today from a man with a heavy accent telling her there was a problem With her computer and she needed to log in and go to a specific site. Luckily (to a certain extent)  I've drilled into her about scams such as this and to NOT do anything a voice onthe phone tells her to do. Especially if THEY call her. She told them I handle all her computer stuff and to call me. She gave the guy my number (gee thanks mom!:)). Of course he never called me.

I imagine the website he wanted her to go to was designed to put a virus or something on her computer.

Just got the same call and same guy heavy accent and noisey room,. insisted i go to his web site.  I told him i had another call and looked up the number and he tried calling back several times. I did not answer.

Got a call from this number today. Also thick indian accent, wanting to speak to my husband. When I ask him what about, he said something about microsoft. I told him to tell me because I was the one who used the computer and he hung up. You cannot call the number back. Also had a withheld number on my cell phone today and I did not answer. Wondering if it was the same thing. Never get them on it. Wondering if someone has hacked into something where our phone numbers would be listed!

A man call me on 05/29/2012 at 12:45 pm with a India accent clamming they detected a virus on my computer and the then he wanted me to open the event viewer so I played along with hem so I could find out where they were and to see if I could something to stop this since this was the third call I have had from people with a India accent that said they were from Microsoft windows and they detected a virus on my computer. I let them lead me to this web site http://www.techvizard.com  and he told me to click on the blue get support button which turned out to be TeamViewer_Setup.exe so he could have remote desk top access to my computer so I did but instead of running the program I saved the file top my desk top and then I play like I was dumb and said I was checking out the web site to keep them on the phone while I did my research and I keep them on the phone for a long time while I traced the phone call and then he got mad at me and hung up the phone I guess I keep him on the phone too long and he figured out I was messing with hem but when he hung up the phone I called last call return *69 and this phone number came up 253-242-8714 which is the same phone number on the web site there is also 1-800-964-2065 so I called the number so my cell phone so my phone cloud save the numbers this is an internet crime and needs to be stopped because the second time I was called up by a man with a India accent they uploaded a virus on my computer and it cost me 449.99 dollars to have a Omnitech clean up my computer and I cannot afford it I am unemployed right now. Any way I did some more research and the 1-800-964-2065 number is a cell phone from Hualnan City, Anhul Province.
