Please confront the political survey company who illegally called my cell phone when I am on the national do not call list. The number is 253.392.9966. I have seen this posted on several websites.

They've been calling me too, and as annoying as it is, they're NOT breaking the law.  The Do-Not-Call Registry does not cover all unsolicited calls.  This page explains it in detail: www.fcc.gov/encyclopedia/do-not-call-list

Stop calling.. What a pain

Political campaign calls, and fund raising calls from non-profit organizations are expempt from the federal and state do not call lists.
I know this because I briefly worked for the Texas State Fraternal Order of Police. They opened their own call centers because they are non profit so they get around the do not call lists. They also do so the callers can say they're not a 3rd party telemarketing company, however all of hte scripts you read off of say they're licensed from the same telemarketing company, and although the callers are paid by the FOP. The "admins" in the office are paid from the telemarketing company. Its just a loophole around the law, and so people don't think the other company still gets most of the money they donate. (They still do)
By law they are required to put your number on their own do not call list if you ask them to. If you hang up, or cuss them out or whatever, they just hit next and your phone number goes back into rotation in the computer.

Received the same call.  Contact your Congress Person and tell them that if they want to get elected, pass a bill that requires everyone to comply with the do not call list, no exceptions.  Keep contacting them until you get a public statement from them about what they will do to stop BS calls.  We, the public, are being harassed by telephone, house and cell phones, for the benefit of our politicians and those that are paying them off.  Sound like something they won't bother with?  Look at what they do all day.  For example:  If they spend their day introducing bills about commemorative coins for everyone; they can introduce bills to protect our rights instead.  (Yes that's the type of bill they spend their time on.)  And yet they refuse to do anything to protect our rights to peace and quiet and continue to allow others to use our phones for profit.  Call and email your representative.  Google what you want to know about Congress, it's there and easy to find.  Elections are coming up.
