I got this call on my cell phone. It shows up Unavailable. Then I get this message from a man that I can't even understand.  I believe he is indian or something. He then leaves this phone number and says to call him or have my attorney call. Who are these people? Does not give me a company name or anything.

This guy from this # is a jerk, Luckly I have a school teacher who works at ITT-Tech. when she identified herself, he said no one here buy that #. What is wrong with this guy????What's his point???

Some Indian guy named Dean Jones and a Indian woman named Angela Anderson called stating they were calling from Anderson Law Associates in California regarding a payday loan supposed taking out online and they said charges were being brought against me for my social security number and for them to get in contact with my attorney.  THIS IS A SCAM!!! They are trying to scam you for your money!  They use another number starting with a 531 area code & someone named Daniel from the same Anderson Law Associates to scary people into give up information about their social security number & bank information. THIS IS A SCAM!!!!

If they call you, ask them to send you proof of the official court affidavit with your name and the name of the company that is suing you on it that has an offical court seal on it with a court affidavit number on it. If it were legitimate, you could contact the court house to verify.

I got a call from this [***] today. I filled a complaint with the FBI.  I hope they find this deck head and put him a cell with big bubba

These people have called my cell phone 4 times and my work 3 times today. I cant get them to stop!! What do I do???

I just got the same exact call. Some Indian guy called me stated that I committed fraud by having a payday loan deposited into my account and when they tried to extract the money; they were unsuccessul. Therefore they are filing a law suit against me. So when I told him I never had any money deposited for a pay day loan and I called my bank to verify. He stated that I need to have a lawyer call and that I will be given a termination letter from my job when they find out what I've done. All of this sounded really strange so I took the number and googled it. Funny because I came across all of you having the same problem. I called back and told him I'm turing this information over to the FBI and he hung up on me. I attempted to call 6 times after that and they simply did not answer. This is a scam!

I got two messages left on my home vm today. He told me that if I didn't call back things would happen and all he could say was "God Bless".... What the heck is this all about!!!

I have had 6 calls from these people today, strong accent and could hardly understand him..  Said I needed to call back immediately or have my lawyer call him.  Said a bunch of other crap and then told me good luck as it unravels or something around me. I can here other people in the back ground telling other people this stuff.  How do they get our information,  I recently was online and was looking for a refi on my auto loan and put some information in,  are they stealing this information.  I will never do this again.  I am about ready to change my phone number and thinking about turning them in.  the phone number on my caller ID comes up 0000.

I recieved 3 phone calls from this number last night tell me I have criminal charges pending for fraud and that I need to have a lawyer call him back.The guy went by the name of Joe Brown. I called him back on 3 way with my mom on the phone and when she said she was gonna report him to the better buisness he hung up on us.. It is a scam and they will say what ever they can to get money out of you.

This man with a thick a** heavy accent called me this morning at work around 9 A.M. Talking about he has some paperwork to serve me for some criminal charges, this fool had my name and SSN and then asked did I work for a certain place I told his a** no. He said well we have criminal charges and the sheriff is coming to serve you papers at your job or your home. I said sorry you got the wrong one cuz it's not me then he hung up. Then had the nerve to call back and say I hung up on him I didn't answer answer but he left a message no name but the number I went to white pages.com and the number he called from was from Delta Colorado. I took the number to the security office because I was scared. I blocked my number and called from home and I said you called me and left a message but then he gonna say we don't have you in our system, I said what's the name of this company he stated ANDERSON LAW ASSOCIATES, then I said what's your name because I'm reporting you to security and he said we don't see you in our system can you call us back in 30 minutes hell to the naw if you got my name, number and SSN then you should know who the hell I was. Get a dayum life and stop scamming people. By the way I also forwarded this info to the FBI.

keep receiving call from Angela Anderson saying they are taking me to court in California if I don't pay.  I fell for them once, please don't believe them.  It is a scam.  Angela claims that she is trying to help me and wants to know why I can't pay back my loans.  I told her I didn't have any loan, I asked for paperwork, she stated all the original paperwork is at the courthouse and she does not have access.  I told her that if she is a  lawyer, then she should have all the paperwork.  I asked for proof of debt and she could not state who original creditor was..she then replied  "Cash Advance."  They have called my work several times and I told her if they didn't stop, I was turning them into FBI.

Hello all I just got into work and when I checked my voice mail I had a message from the same indian guy claiming he had the same bogus trumped up charges against me. He said that it's important I return his phone call that is is very important that I do. He said his name was Edward Glennis he called at 5:34 PM on 11/23/10, at the end of his message he said I wish you luck as this situation unfolds on you LOL. Who do these people think they are I am hipped to there scheme and they will not a dime of my hard earned money. As Iistened to the message it sounds like the same guy who calls everytime. They matters well get over it because we are on to there scheme and I hope don't nobody fall for it. I saved the message on my voice mail so I can play it back to my security office and also if I need it for evidence so the FBI can listen.

He also called me a few weeks ago and I said you got the wrong number LOL as everyone said they will stop calling for a minute and then start back calling you I will not be returning his call.

I just received a phone call from an unavailable number!  It was the same scenario!  He told me that there were criminal charges against me and that I needed to call Angela Anderson!  When I typed in her name, I found the comments that everyone had posted!  The call back number they gave me is different from what you all have listed!  My question is this....how did they get my name, my work number, and my SSN?  Is there anyone that I can call and report this too???

Received a call today from Angela Anderson; gave me a different number (760)563-2835. First spoke to a very heavily accented Indian male speaking of did I have an attorney and that I was being sued for not paying a debt and stealing money. Then he transferred me to her; she stated I had received an advance from Cash Advance and they were unable to get the funds from the bank and had retained them to sue for 400 plus dollars. Unfortunately, I have borrowed through the internet so was concerned but knew that I was up to date on everything-told her I need her to mail me the info and she said I would be served at work. Scarey that she repeated all of my vital info, address, ssn, employment, etc. She also said cash advance had made numerous attempts to email me but got no response. I knew that wasn't true. She gave me the above phone number and said I had 2 hours to get back to her. Her assistant also mentioned a David Cooper and a number of (760) 269-3831; of course no response at that number. I wish we could stop these criminals!

I received alot of calls from this company called Anderson Law Associates regarding a payday loan that i do not know about. He used the name Mike Davis and said that he  will connect me to a David Jones. His accent is very very heavy and their phnone line is either static or the line keeps going in or out. Then they hung up on me they said they had an affidavit and the affidavit had another law firm on it and when my lawyer called they said Jess Bedore Law office... He called me names and cussed my lawyer out. I called back 5 times and they just keep hanging up on me the # is 323-284-2250

We are getting multiple calls per day; up to 5 in a row. Caller ID displays multiple area codes. They are asking for a lady named "Shelby."  We told them they had the wrong number but they keep calling and leaving the same nasty "scripted" messages.  One caller finally gave us the name and address of the Shelby person they were stalking.  We used a special website service to cross reference "Shelby's" phone number and then advised the callers of the proper contact number but these dullards still call frequently and will often hang-up if confronted.  Here are some voice mail messages. From: "Cynthia William's" return call: 914-730-9587 and from: "Ben Wilson" (very thick Hindi accent); he advises to call 323-284-2250. Once I collect a bit more in tangible evidence, I will sue. Case history reveals that punitive damages from this type of repetitive harassment can pay up in to the 7 digits (once a judgment demands cessation yet the calls continue). It's only a matter of time and I'm excited because these types of simpletons always hang themselves.  PS: To the dejected callers... If think you can hide behind an ostensible Corporate Veil? Well... Try me; I'm told I'm pretty good at penetrating those pseudo barriers! ;-)
