Recorded message to reduce my credit card debt.

I can't understand why telemarketers keep calling when i'm on the do not call list.  Another one to report.

I just received the call from 253-414-6649-and I am on do not call as well?? So WHY did I get a call too?
They hung up, however and didn't leave a message-thanks to this site I was able to identify what the call was about.

I have a new cell phone number and get a lot of calls like this probably because of the previous holder of this number.  Declined the call and checked this site.  I'm sure it was just a telemarketer.

i have had a lot of trouble the last 2 days with an idiot who called on my home phone 3 times yesterday and said he was from unclaimed money.. i didn't let him finish and told him to take me off the list and never to call again and he called 2 more times during the day and said his name was peter. sounded like he was pakistanian or from some foreign country..
today i get one  from this number and didn't get to the phone in time which i live alone and this upsets me.. i am on the no call list.. and put my name again on it yesterday..
these people harass people and should be stopped.. if it is about a credit card.. i don't even have a credit card and they have called my home phone several times last week.
who on the internet is giving these yo yo  peoples phone numbers etc. that is the reason i don't bank on the internet.. i guess i am going to have to start using a fake name or something

I answered a call from this number on my daughters cell phone.  I listened to the whole message about lowering my credit card debt.  When it told me how to speak to a person I did this.  When the lady answered and asked if I would like to lower my debt I tried to tell her No, I want her to take this number off their list.  Well as soon as I said no she hung up.  How do I get these people to stop calling and texting her number?

If they are calling you and you are on the "do not call" list, that's a big red flag.  Scammers don't follow the law, so why would they bother with the "do not call" list?  If they break the law, they are not going to listen to you when you request to be removed from their list.

Report the phone number to your telephone provider.

Some cellphones have a "block this number" capability.  Try that.  Then, report this number to the cellphone provider as malicious.  If your daughter's cellphone number is listed on the "do not call" list, let the provider know that.

Just received a call.  I didn't answer and they left no message.  I'm going to get my phone company to block this number too.

Same here.I registered my number for the "do not call list" and continue to get thos annoying telemarketing calls...Please stop calling.

The real problem here is the FEDERAL GOV'T.  They are full of SH_ _.  The Do Not Call Registry is just another made up BS Office created by the Federal Govt to either employ some of their buddies families or some crap like that.  Trust me, somehow someone they owe, know whatever is benefiting from this Office because the Do Not Call Registry is good for nothing else other than a way to create jobs to pay someone. Have had my number on it for a few years now, made complaints, etc to no avail. I still keep getting the calls. Why? Like I said because the Federal Govt is not going to do a damn thing about it and these companies know it.  Get used to it. Does anyone know of any company they have ever gone after? Didn't think so. We are all being Screwed by our own Gov't on a day to day basis in any and every way they can imagine possible. Over half the laws on the books are there only to amuse us and con us in to believing the Federal Gov't has our best interests in mind. Try finding someone to enforce the majority of the laws, YOU WON'T. I know, I am a victim and cannot get anyone to help. Bend over and get some vaseline, 95% of the American population will need it.

THE DO NOT CALL REGISTRY IS NOT FOR CELL PHONES!  You can hit the ignore button on your cell phone, or answer it and as soon as its someone you don't know...just hang up on them.  Then block that number (if you don't know how to do this, call your cell phone provider).  I usually add them to my contacts as Z spam and set their number to 'no ring' and block them as well.  It's annoying yes, but don't expect anyone to do anything about it, except YOU.  Marketers have always been annoying and they aren't going away, so take action and forget about it.  Filing complaints with who ever is a WASTE of time.  So ignore, or hang up, EASY!

national do not call registry, dont do thier job, all they do is sit on thier fat  [***] and collect pay check and get thier happy meal, i suggest we get all together and find a small claims court far away from washington tacoma and sue them. thank you/

so how much you get paid on your new job stupid , national do not cala is not for all cellphone, then why they name it national donat call, not by individual cellphone provider, suck up  what ever you can from the tax payers money, you are the reason some of the government office no not move forward, you talk first before doing your action.

HELLO...THE NATIONAL DO NO CALL REGISTRY IS FOR CELL PHONES AS WELL AS LANDLINES. you can try blocking the number...verizon lets you block 5 #s for 90 days for free or more #s forever for $4.99/mo. The problem with this scam is that they use burn phone so reporting a partiicular number is a waste of time. I blocked three different numbers for these low lifes and they keep calling from a different number. I just might have to resort to answering the phone, speaking to someone and using the tried and true blow a police whistle in their ear and hope it ruptures the moron's eardrum.

Yu Betcha...the US Government is responsible for sca, artists using burn phones and ignoring the DO Not Call registry. I spent a hour on the phone talking to someone at the DNC registry and they have stopped a similar operation in the past. The first problem is, these people use throw away untraceable cell phones. the second problem is people like you who like to blame the government for every problem in your life and DO NOTHING TO HELP...like report the number  instead of bitching on sites like this
