Got this call and wasnt able to answer it cause I was at work. My wife had me call it back and it was a recording stating it was a travel based call and that someone would call me back shortly. It said to input my number or to press one to be removed from there list...???? Sounds iffy to me!

Same thing and the message was in Spanish, not sure why. No way I'm calling it back.

Same thing here, called my cell but left no message.  I put my cell on the do not call list, as well as my home #, bu we're still getting slammed with telemarketers, recorded messages and such.  There's GOT to be something we can do to stop this.  Anybody have any suggestions?

Oddly enough, I got the same call from 253-507-9199 yesterday, but I was also at work and missed the call. When I called the number back, I got the message saying it was about my vacation plans and I would be called back.
I thought it was legit though, because 3 hours earlier, I had tried to book a vacation with Silverleaf Resorts(timeshare), but there were no vacancies. I told them to put me on the standby list and they said that they would call me if anything opened up.
Today, I called Silverleaf back thinking I could set up my vacation with them, but they said they didn't know anything about that number, and that there was still nothing available.
The cross-referencing question is, do you guys deal with Silverleaf Resorts, or any other Time share properties? They may be selling our cell numbers...

Also a member a with Silverleaf and receive calls from this number to my cell periodically.

Report it thru the govt "do not call" list if you ask to be put on the "do not call list". https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx?panel=2

If you call them back and put in your phone number to request to be removed, they will then turn around and sell your phone number to another marketer.

You also need to file complaint directly with FTC. Those "automobile warranty" scam calls that were coming are being taken care of because people reported them thru the proper channel, not on these websites. These websites help alot but does nothing to stop them.

This number called and said that I won 500 bucks and that I needed to give them my CC number to obtain my prize. The guy was pushy and I just told him to f off because he asked me over and over for my CC #. Be careful don't get scammed money is too tight to lose it....

same call... spanish speaking recording... I just hung up.

Recieved a call from this phone number.  When I picked up there was background noise like someone was listening in then it went straight to a recording in Spanish saying I had one a million dollars and to press 1 to accept my prize. I hung up - obvious scam.

Called at 11:25.  No message.  I got a new cell number about a month ago and keep getting calls from various states (California, Virginia, Texas).  Those who leave a message want to sell me car warranties, insurance, etc.  Have put all my phones on the Do Not Call list.  Too bad it does not seem to do any good.E8W3

The more you put yourself on the "do not call list", the more calls you'll get. It opens up channels, and your number is then published and up for sale. Dont put your number on any list, and hang up when you get calls like that. dont give it time to run the recording. it's only a waste of time

Got a call from the same number, several times now. I will not answer calls I do not know. To answer the question above, no I am not part of any timeshare nor properties at all!

its a guy name john he called yesterday night and said i got fired and i needede 2 give him my number so he can call me back i hung

The only way y'all dumb people will stop receiving these calls is if y'all stop filling out entry forms to win a car. Even of y'all put y'alls number on the Do Not Call list, They're still goin to call ya because if your putting your first and last name as well as your PHONE NUMBER and address on that entry form your giving them permission to call you!!!!!!

And the ONLY way you can have the calls stop comin threw you phones is if you ANSWER and ASK POLITELY to be tooken OFF THE LIST!!

Blasting you with a whistle or airhorn is much more effective ... and satisfying.

I just received a call with this number on my caller ID reading from Tacoma, WA. First, I got on here and saw all of your responses. Second, I called the number back. It was a home residence and the woman with whom I spoke said she had just got in and did not make a call to this number. Once again, I got on the internet and discovered that a person can indeed make a phone call from one number and have it show up as another number and location on the receiver's caller ID. Just thought I share. By the way, I DO NOT sign up for anything. If someone wants a number, they will find ways to get it.
