- pasteldgrsI've gone from dying status to possibly living a bit longer in the last 12 days. To do that, I had a new shiny pacemaker of some kind jammed into my heart a few days ago. Unfortunately my heart is the largest one any cardiologist has ever seen, including the doctors from all over the world. I'm beginning to understand the circus freak mindset. The doctors come in and go so what's new all the time. Frustration is one thing I am not handling well at all. I need to actually have the ability to stop this phone number and others like it because they make me crazy. Please continue to post new numbers and stops for them. Tranquility is redefined here. Thank you for the help. In addition, 1-503-457-1034 is an online pharmacy I've been screaming at them to stop calling me for several years. They just change the number after I shut the current one down. Today I started a tab on them. If they cause my new wiring to shut down by unnecessary phone calls, I fully intend to bill them for the privilege. One of the basic warnings I was giving is not to use the phone unnecessarily and be sure and keep it away from my body. Don't even carry it around in a pocket in the left side. I wonder what these companies liability would be if they took out a perfectly good heart patient because they did not choose to respect my requests. Any one have any ideas on how to scare them into submission?

- Carole| 7 repliesIgnoring the phone calls doesn't work as they keep calling back. Speak to them, if it's your debt, work it out to resolve it. If it's not your debt, they'll take your phone number off their list.
- Susan H. replies to Carole| 2 repliesI've tried that. I talked to them one time and told them it's not my debt and to take me off their list/stop calling. I still receive 5 or 6 calls a day several days a week from this number. I even changed my cell phone number and they still call and won't leave a message.
- Debra replies to Susan H.| 1 replySilence their number so when they call it won't ring on your end. :-)
- LashI have received several lcalls from this number and I don't have contacts in Huntsville. No message is left.
- Andrew replies to Tattoo_RebelThis is a collection agency which means the will probably keep trying to collect on a debt. Do not call registry or requests doesn't work unless you don't owe the money or you're not who they're calling for. You need to get someone on the phone who's reasonable, to find out and either work something out with them or tell them you're not the person they're calling for.
- Rpageio| 2 repliesThis not a debt collector. It is a phone number harvester using an autodialer. If you answer or call their number your phone number will be put on a list of responders and sold to telemarketers. If you are getting calls from debt collectors then your debt has been written off by the note older and sold to these parasites. Your original debt will remain on your credit report 7 years from the date it is written off however any payments you make to this third party will not go towards the original debt but as profit to these leeches and the 7 year waiting period starts over again. Don't let these people guilt you into extended your 7 years. Do not take the calls if possible but if you do then do not confirm anything or give out information. Paying anything on this bad debt will not help your credit rating. Remember 3rd party debt collectors will lie to collect any money because most get 50% of what they collect. It is a slimy business.

- Cool BreezeIt is a collection agency, the scum of the earth. They were calling a telefax machine line. No one here by that name.

- not annoyed any moreIf they are callin your cell, you should be able to block that phone number with you carrier. I did mine online with Verizon. Now they can't call. I will block the next number when it pops up.

- Jack Frost replies to CaroleBill collectors won't stop calling you, if it's a wrong number, unless you request it in writing. I got a new land line phone installed and the exact date the phone became active, I started getting collections calls for a 3rd party whom I did not know. Each time I told the collector they had the wrong number, they would question whether or not I knew the person they were trying to reach. That didn't end until I cancelled the phone service.
- PJ McKay replies to CaroleYeh right. They'll take the name off. That is incredibly naive.
- reginaThey call several times during the day. They never leave a message. They are driving me crazy!

- frustratedI too am receiving this call, and they are requesting a person who no longer lives here. It is a scary message, something to the effect that they need to talk to someone TODAY about this account. They even have a reference number. I have enough stress without this scammer bothering me.

- TX-Grandma| 3 repliesReceived a call from this number. It was a computer call that asked if you are not (NAME) press 2, if you are (NAME) press 1. Then someone answers the phone and asks, "How can I help you?" My response, "You called me." Their response: "We are collecting a debt for [NAME OF COMPANY]. When can you make payment?" I asked how old the debt is? When was the last activity they had on the debt? Is the debt valid? They asked for my current address and phone number. They said they would send the information I requested. I asked if they could provide proof that they are a licensed collector in the State of Texas. She responded that she would have to check with a supervisor and hung up on me.

- s replies to TX-Grandma| 1 replyexactly same thing..except for me it never connected me to a person.. it never does... ever... if theres a debt on it im willing to pay it, buti cant even find out what it is. very frustrating
- RandomGuyFromDallasThese people have called me twice today. First they call you, once you answer they hang up. When you call them back there is a computer that says "one moment please" and some random person answers. They say "this is so and so from national debt something we're trying to reach...." they pause until you say something. Both times I replied "who are you trying to reach?" They then told me the name Nazime Zxerodclwwax (some middle eastern name). The first time I was polite and said it wasn't me (they then asked if I was another person). They tried to get my name, I politely said that I'm not interested and to have a good day CLICK.
A few hours later the same thing happens. I'm freaking pissed off about them calling a second time. The same steps are taken but this time I get a different person on the phone. She asks me if I'm a different foreign guy. I respond by saying "no." She then asks me if I'm sure. "Yes." "Do you know the person?" (I'm livid by this point). I then become an A Hole and respond, "Mam, my name is Michael. Does my name indicate that I know whoever the hell you're looking for? I've had this number for almost 10 years. Take me off your f-ing list."
If they call me one more time I will be reporting them to the authorities.
