This is a phone call from the Make a Wish Foundation.  I guess it's a call center but the nonprofit organization is located in Homewood, AL.

I do not think that this is Make a Wish.  They gave me an entirely different name and the caller ID said Cullman.  I think this is a scam pretending to be make a wish.

I also got this call from Cullman, AL. But they didn't say anything when I answered.

Received a "hang-up" call from this UNLISTED number at 8:45 P.M CST; promptly returned the call and an answering device played a well scripted, but poorly annunciated solicitation for dying children. I left a message with number (different) to participate. My participation will probably be in the form of a complaint to the Alabama Attorney General and the U.S. Attorney in Birmingham; hopefully enticing an audit of the 401-3 (c) status/expenses, overhead etc… Would be nice to see the numbers and actual services provided to the children contrasted with expenses travel and salaries!

Caller states they w/ "make a wish for kids"; called @ 9pm which for me is late because I have to get up so early.  Won't give info when you ask for; finally hung up.

Number belongs to Childs Wish Assoc. of America. Machine recording when I returned the call.Google earth shows the location of the call is coming from the general area around Regions Bank on the corner of 2nd Ave and 3rd Ave.

keep getting calls from 256-727-7015,  no message left .. thank the government for selling all of us out and taking away our rights to protest these kind of scammers.

They called themselves Child's Wish when they called us as well.

I was told it was for the Alabama Youth Homes. asking for me to make a donation for children. there isnt a youth home

Googled it and its a pc unlimited. I think someone stole the number.

Just got a call from this number, showed on caller ID as "UNKNOWN CALL". Female saying something about helping kids in my town of ______, didn't pronounce it right. I told her if she was from my area she would know how to pronounce ______. She hesitates then says she is in Cullman, then sounds like she doesn't know how to respond further.
Cullman is 80 miles from my location, don't think she intended to help kids in my town, just pad her own pockets.

Got a call from this number.  A man told me he wasn't asking me to give over the telephone.  He wants to send me a form to send back with a twenty dollar donation to help underprivileged children.  I asked him how he got my number and he said something about got the number from A.T.&T.  He had my last name and address.  I told him he could send it, but that did not mean that I was going to send him any money.  I don't appreciate A.T.&T. selling our numbers.
