"Bridget" calling me back only six days after assuring me, "...consider this your final notice..." and even after telling me (many times) I didn't qualify for their "lower your rate" offer because I pay my credit cards off in full each month.

The recording of this "lower your rate" call is exactly the same past calls but from a new number to avoid call blocking. The recorded message is their usual patter (see below) followed by a 7 second pause, then they say "good bye" and disconnect. when I failed to press any buttons.

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?

Here is a transcript of their latest offering:

[female voice] "Hello, this is Bridget with Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 1%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. Please press the number 1 on your phone now to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Or press the number 3 to discontinue further notices. Thank you. Have a great day."

[7 second pause]  [female voice] "Good bye".

This scammer violates the Telephone Consumer Protection Act by calling numbers on the national do not call registry. They further violate the TCPA by failing to have an operator on the line when the phone is answered and playing a recorded message without an operator on the line to stop or pause the recording and answer questions. They continue to violate the TCPA once an operator is on the line by refusing to provide a phone number when asked, and hanging up when asked for an address. Their recording is the quite aged offer to lower interest rates on credit cards. Though the recording claims that this is your second (not true, there have been many) and final (unlikely to be true, it probably won't  be more than a week before the next one) offer, and that you are already qualified, the operator starts with questions indicating that the scammer has very little information and you are not prequalified. This is quite clearly a scam. Do not provide this scammer with any personal or financial information.

This number calls me EVERYDAY... between 10 and 11am. HOW DO I STOP IT???
