Today we got two calls from this number, at 4:42 and 6:59 p.m. EDT.  These calls came despite our number being on the Indiana Do Not Call list.  No message was left after either call.  This is annoying, to say the least.  Obviously callers are disregarding the Do Not Call list.  

We also got a call from this number at 4:40. They seem to come a couple times a day and I don't answer any calls we don't know anymore because if they need me they will leave a message. To bad the do not call list doesn't work as I have a running list of numbers just within 2 weeks there are 27 junk calls logged with #, name of caller if shown, time and date. SCUM!!!!!!!

They're baaaaack!!  Two more calls from this number came at 3:25 p.m. and 5:20 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014.  The first went to the answering machine; no message was left.  We answered the second call, but nobody spoke.  Caller ID reads "SSI."  These calls are coming from our area code, despite our number being on our state's Do Not Call List.  GRRR!

The person on the other end said "Looks like our quota's been met, have a nice day" and hung up.

Got a call at 7:34 EDT on Sunday 5/17/2015.  They were polling, primarily about the Fort Wayne mayoral candidates, although there was a question about the clerk's race.  They asked if I was registered at my current address, how frequently I votted, whether I was familiar with Mitch Harper and Tom Henry, if I thought Mr Henry Henry, what I thought the most important issue was to me, whether the city was spending too much on downtown revitalization and the riverfront at the expense of neighborhoods. whether I felt safe in my neighborhood, and they also asked my age and income brackets.  There was one question about another race, I think it was a clerk.

The pollster was quiet and kind, and it appeared to be a poll to determine my "hot buttons" for campaigning, rather than "push polling" to make everyone think that a certain candidate's policies are very popular.  I'm not sure if this was the Democrats or the GOP doing the polling, but I doubt very much that it was a bews organization.  I didn't bother to ask who they were because I figured, giuven the nature of the poll, they'd have a meaningless name chosen

Politicians are exempt from the "do not call" list restrictions.  The call rook about 10 minutes -(I paid close attention, because I was baking bread, and I didn't want it to burn.)

Repeated calls from this number but no message, must be a scam as SSI if that stands for Social Security (i - somthing)
the Social Securtiy bureau is not going to call you.

They keep calling and do not speak when I answer or leave a message when the answering machine picks up.

Well, maybe the quota for the day was to get gullible people to answer the phone so they could chalk up another number on the list of possible suckers.
