Who is this? Constantly calls my cell phone! How did they get my cell phone? Nobody ever there and doesn't leave voicemail.

I got a call from this number not one week after activating a new tracfone.  The message claimed to be the IRS calling about back taxes.  Beware.

I just got a (missed) call from this number, one DAY after getting my new iPhone! So glad I looked this number up and saw this thread. I have not given my cell phone number to ANYONE but my folks yet (who don't live in Fort Wayne, Indiana), so it was very odd to get this call!

Just got a call from this number 260-399-8288 it just rang and rang i did not answer it! who ever it was did not leave a message.....

Call back, hit #1, it'll remove your phone number from the caller's list and stop the phone calls.

Robo-call claiming to be a service to help you "pay off your back taxes."  Sounds like a big SCAM to me.

Keeps calling me. Everyday same time.

Have gotten two calls from "Sarah" who wants to reduce my IRS backtaxes (which I don't have)...I just hang up.

"Hi this is Sarah and I would like to talk to you about your tax debt...... " I hung up.

You should NEVER call the numbers back, and never ask to be removed from their list by pressing "1" (or whatever).

Doing so only verifies that your number is "live". Once confirmed that your number is live, it will be sold off to additional sleezebag companies as a "gold list"

if it's not a number you recognize, DONT ANSWER AND TAKE NO ACTION.

Just got a call from this #, I didn't answer & they didn't leave a message. I called back & pressed 1...it worked. Thank you Sam for that little tip. :)

I did that too, but they keep calling. I've been told that "press 1" is a scam to confirm that it's a valid number.
