This number 260-547-2910  reads "Corrections" and called my land phone 9am 2/14/17.... Automated  Voice says case filed against ... then gives a name I don't know .... gives number shown on caller I.D. to phone them and gives a file # as well - then says you have been told .... as if supposed  legal ..... I am in southern Calif ..... odd

Some machine has called several times week of Feb 12th. This number 260-547-2910  reads "Corrections" and called my land phone  and also cell phone.... Automated  Voice says case filed against ... then gives a name I don't know .... gives number shown on caller I.D. to phone them and gives a file # as well - then says you have been warned!

They keep calling me a least twice or three times a day, at work and on my cell, They are saying that i will be prosecuted for some loan that i never got, they will contact my HR department, this is the third and final attempt...
When I talked to one of them three days a go, they said i owe money to HousholdBank!!
they will waive a the federal $2000 fee , if i agree to pay the $375 that I owe them since October 17, 2005.
Statute of limitation was waived because I signed on that!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im tired of these daily calls it has been going on for few months.
I told to one of them " how can you make a living by scamming people< she hanged up the phone right the way..

Same thing. Comes up on caller ID as Corrections.  Looking for Raymond Harrison and will prosecute, etc.  Raymond is not in this household and never was.  Going to block it otherwise 3 calls a day.

I just received this same call except they mentioned a name I know and claimed they received a faxed restraining order and the documents will be served either at the residence or employment. Stated it was an official warning

I just got the same call.It was for my husband's ex wife.She hasn't lived here in 32 years.They said they would go to place of emplyment or residence.

Stated that I have two cases against me. They will find me at work or at my residence. This is a warning. It was an automated system.

this number (260-547-2910) calls and leaves messages such as 'cases pending against you' 'files in my office that need to be served to your home or place of employment' 'this is your official notice'..a lot of lame scammers I'd say. I feel bad for the people that fall for this, end up calling them back and giving up personal information :( Any debt collector, agent or court employee would not call and ask for personal info over the phone. I admit I've got some delinquent bills out there, but no way am I risking loss of personal security by handling this business over the phone with some random automated calling service. At the most, I'd ask for a number to call them back at a more convenient time so I could google their business number, like I did to find this wonderful page :)

Threatening to prosecute (bring criminal action) you is a violation of federal law, specifically the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act prohibits threats of criminal action to collect an alleged threat. Also, the must tell you on who's behalf they are calling, the amount of the debt, and when it's incurred. You have a right to get their name and mailing address so that, if you want, you can write to formally request that they contact you only in writing. If they don't comply, then they are in violation of the law. It sounds to me like it's a scam and these people obtain your personal  information illegally.

I have been receiving the same call from 260-547-2910 for the past 3 weeks, they call several times a day and make the same threats.  I do not know the person they are looking for nor do I know how they got my number.  After the first message I called the number back as instructed and received a recording that said all agents were busy at the time.  Does anyone know how to make the calls stop, they call during work hours and late evening.

This is a scam.  Do not pay.  I've contacted 3 attorneys and all gave the same info.

I just returned phone call and the guy tried to tell me I had a litigation on outstanding cc from 2009 but also something about defrauding by giving incorrect bank info ! Then the dates and addresses didnt even match up. I told him to go ahead and send the sheriff with summons. He hung up!

Yes they called me too and left a message threatening arrest.  I started getting these calls after a replied to an add for furniture on Craigslist.  I should have known the add was too good to be true.  Never again!!!!

Received vm requesting call back, VM included pending charges and fraud? When was the last time a court used an out of state resource to handle their phone calls and communicate litigation on a voice mail?

Got VM today on cell phone, similar to every one else's.  Autocall, two cases filed against me. Threat quoted- "We will actively pursue you at your place of employment and your residence."  I wish this was a legit company; I would definitely take them to court.

They called me twice asking for "James Smith". It is some kind of trick to get you to call back and give money.
