I am getting the same thing. I answered once and no one was there. There is no need to call me 5 freaking times in a row and leave the same msg that repeats itself over and over. It is some Kohls thing. I used that one number someone left on here to stop the calls and I think it's working. Good job on that one. I have never gotten these calls before and I'm sure I've been late on my bill before. This is so strange and I hate how companies do this crap to people.

Calls several times a day-all week, 7 days, but never leaves message on answering machine. I don't know if there is some law or something but others like GE DO leave a message. It is very frustrating and annoying!
Does anyone know if debt collectors are required to leave a message AND if the are supposed to call Monday thru Friday and only from 8AM to 9PM? I can not seem to get clarification on this. Also, if it is a business is it not REQUIRED that their name show up on caller ID? Curious to know these answers. TIA

I got several calls, on my cellphone, which is registered on the do not call list, and finally was able to determine that someone I don't know had put down my phone number for their account.  After explaining the third time that I was not "Becky?", had no relation with Kohls, and was on the do not call list, I got several more calls.  Finally called Corporate Headquarters at 262-703-7000, where a Customer service rep, who verified this as their collection department phone number.  She said she removed my number from the account, and marked the account that an incorrect number had been given by customer.  Said calls should stop within 24 hours, if not call her back.  She even gave me her extension, so I'm hoping this works.

Yes, the other day this number left no message - just breathing - on my line at work.  I do see this number on my caller i.d. at work throughout the day, but don't answer it.

I'm in a debt consolidation program, and after 2 months, the calls still happen.  The other day it was Chase, but I found out it was a scam.  It's like it's either the real collectors or some scam artist, and it makes you so mad.

In the last 6 days has called at least once a day and as many as five times a day. with todays calls at 8:42,8:43, and 10:02 recorded in my call history with a # ID I have recived these calls before 8:am and after 9pm without Caller ID. and Call trace costs lots of money.  I have unavailable #'s blocking on my phone but the still come through, I have blocked this # manuanly and the number still gets through and auto block comes up as unable to block #.  I've called the # and gotten discconeted message or kolhs credit.  They always hang up when I answer without even a pause.  Their supervisor say's it must be a system glich and he is sorry.  Most of the time my call history indicates the call came in but hung up before a connection was made.  I have and in home answering machine not voice mail and it never has time to announce our message.

Same Laura as the 27th.  I was out of the office last week and checked my messages now.  This same number must have called at least 10 times while I was out and just leave breathing messages now!!

This number called me 12 times in one day, including after 9pm which I find way very unprofessional. It's Kohl's dept store and they are wanting money since I haven't paid them. I told them they have the wrong number and they better stop calling me. So far so good!

This number has called me 2x today and I am not answering it and they are not leaving a message either

I am the lone lucky person. I got the call from this # and after finding out who it was, I called it back. I told them I did not have a card and if someone had given my #, I did not authorize it. They claimed they would happily remove my # and guaranteed it would be removed by the end of the business day. We'll see if that actually happens. Apparently the define collection and harassment as one in the same. Good Luck to those with Kohl's accounts, this seems to be their common method.

If I find out this really is Kohl's (the evidence is pretty overwhelming) I will cancel my card as they called my cell and did not leave a message ( the payment i forgot to make was only due a week ago) and they called my home at close to 11 and asked for someone who does not live here.  I know they are not allowed to call after 9.

This number calls me ALL the time....if I answer, they disconnect.  Then they call again in about 30 minutes...

If it IS Kohl's....Then they have a wrong number because I have never shopped there.

We should ALL CALL THIS NUMBER BACK & then hang up....we should do it several times a day like they do..

late on a bill of 307.00, not even a month! repeated calls, all hours. sounds like they like to Harass their customers. Lets harass them, send it back.

It's disgusting a company would treat their customers this way.  Besides the 7 to 8 calls a day, when i did answer the rep was confrontational and talking over me.  I look forward to cancelling my card and shopping elsewhere

I have been a Kohl's customer for several years.  Lately I noticed that my check cleared our bank 3 days before Kohl's credited it to my account. They charged me a late penalty, interest for three months even after I contested the original late charge and interest.  This is in violation with their policy on the back of the monthly statement.  I finally talked to a "ralph" in collection who was condescending, rude and short-tempered.  He finally told me to shut up and that he had zeroed out my account.  I will not be shopping at Kohl's in the future.

I have submitted in writing to have them stop calling, asked them to stop calling me repeatedly and confirmed they have the wrong number (I shopped at Kohl's 3 years ago and used CASH to pay, and nope, I never give out my landline number so they were not and are not entitled to it - don't own a "Kohl's card") and yet what do I get this morning? 2 morning calls from Kohl's. Ready to file a harrassment suit!

This caller is relentless.  Have they tapped into my line somehow?
