Local T-mobile collections

I kept receiving calls from this # and it was an automated voice supposedly from T-Mobile looking for someone who was not me.  I finally got tired of it so I called T-Mobile Customer Care to report it.  When I told them the # they researched it and that number is not affiliated w/ T-Mobile in any way and they even did a search to see if the person they were looking for is who my cell # was registered to last and it was not.

I recently closed my T-Mobile account so that my number and the rest of the numbers on my account would be under a new person and a completely new account number. I paid off the final bill for myself and got confirmation of the newly created account which is in someone else's name.

T-Mobile is now billing both the old closed account and the new one, both of which have the same phone numbers associated with them. They have been calling me non stop and I have tried to correct this problem with no luck.

I repeat, despite going through T-Mobile's process numerous times they still are trying to collect for a completely closed account whose numbers now belong to a different account, including my number.

I keep getting calls from this number but they're not leaving messages.
