Didn't answer because I didn't recognize the name or number.

They called me twice today. The last one I picked up and it sounded like an Australian women if this is and someone said Mommy and it went to computer saying my last name pick up. I was confused, who would call me Mommy but my daughter. It didn't make since so I never picked up. It then gave me a number to call and a file number to use or something like that.

This number calls my cell 2 or 3 times a day, I don't pick up. They do not leave a message.

Tate & Kirlin is an an unscruplous collection agency that will call on Sunday and ignore written instruction to only contact in person

I received a call for this unknown number today.  Since I did not recognize the name or number I did not listen to the message.  How are they bypassing my privacy directory?  The purpose of having privacy directory is so that I will not receive unwanted calls like this one and another one I received from a different number.  In case you receive a call from 202 280-2393 don't answer it or give it any attention.  I believe it is a scam also.

This is a collection agency.  I have received repeated prerecorded voicemail messages on my cell phone.  They ask for Vladimir Godonlyknows with the claim that they are trying to collect a debt.  Since they don't bother to ascertain that they are actually speaking to the right person before disclosing this, it is probably illegal.

They have additional phone numbers, including 215-464-6500, as well as at least one toll-free number that does not reverse.  I have reported them under the Philadelphia number to the Federal Trade Commission at 877-382-4357 (option 2, very easy process).  If they get enough complaints maybe something will be done.  You can also send them nasty emails through their website with or without disclosing your contact info.

This is part of what can be done to help stop these people with their "ROBO" calls. I wrote this response to Tate & Kirlin, Associates and to their vendors, so let's follow suit and hit them where it hurts:

Your firm needs to stop robo dialing phone numbers. This is harassment and your agents or idiots have no phone manners. I have turned you in to FTC and FCC for this practice you are condoning.

To all of the vendor and suppliers:

I question why you would be supporting a company such as this. You are associating your businesses and yourselves and your reputation with a company that is using illegal and derogatory phone practices on unsuspecting citizens. When this word gets out, I think your customer base will decline also. Check with the BBB and the Attorney General and verify the number of complaints that have been logged against this company.

Apparently tate & Kirlin like to try and use local numbers to get to people they are "collecting" from.  If you don't know the number, just don't answer, to really irritate them, answer and hangup, don't say anything.

in this case they are calling from 702 area code numbers.  702-736-8120, 888799-8009, 215-464-4500, 267-385-3071, 702-628-5277, 702-628-5276 so far.

these turds call me everyday of the week about 5 times each day, even after i ask them to stop calling.

Got a call Saturday evening at 7:40 PM.  I didn't answer, a few nights ago I got a call from Tate 2154644500 Beware!

they have a new number now-609-463-5460-beware they are very nasty!

they call me 2 to 3 x a day, how do u get them 2 stop calling? its so freakin annoying!

tell them that is your work number.  They will stop calling that number because they dont want to get in trouble with the attorney general.

I Got a letter from via my mail, claiming I owe money to a bank called Applied Bank....
If I did have a credit card with them it was long past the statual of limitation for collection
It is more than 6 years old.... In PA the limit is 4 years...
Then I look up the Tate and Kirlin, Notice no First names, I checked the PA Bar Assoication
and they have no Tate working at any company by this name and no Kirlin period
Being reported to PA consumer protection as a con game

This is not a law firm, I checked with PA Bar Association and they have
no lawyers by that name.
This is just a cheap collection agency that should go to hell.

Automated phonecall kept calling for 2 weeks. Never left a name, kept asking for an unknown person's name, despite selecting option 3 - have the wrong name.
