just received a call from this number - when answering it - it was a voice activated reply with an Important message from Verizon Wireless but it disconnected after it announced it was Verizon Wireless.  My bill is paid in full - so I think it is a scam.....   it was from a local number - not an 800 number....  scam......

It is a scam.  I called Verizon Wireless because I kept getting these calls and some texts as well and I knew I'd paid my bill.  They told me it wasn't from them and had me forward the texts to their fraud center.

IT IS A AUTO DIALER AND IF ITS A CELL PHONE THEY ARE CALLING IT IS ILLEGAL!!!! I have received 26 of theses calls in the last month and they are all verizon. They deny it because it is illegal ( ACCORING TO THE TCPA ACT OF 1991) look it up. They can be held liable for 500 to 1500 per call. They also use many diffrent numbers here are some 267 773 6210, 215 588 4615, 267 773 6139, 267 773 6199, 585 371 3056. I have a lawer looking into it to the tone of $ 13,000. I suggest you look into it. Big corporations are not exempt from federal law especially bullys like verzion. They use and abuse not only their current customers but previous customers as well.

I've been getting called by an automated message from Verizon asking me to pay up for something. First of all, they ask for someone named K. Sullivan. I'm not K. Sullivan and I don't know anyone named K. Sullivan. Second of all, they call me constantly even when I tell them that I'm not K. Sullivan. Third of all, I don't owe anything for Verizon because I have AT&T. What the heck? Is this even legal?
And, by the way, George, you're a fool.

I have been receiving calls from this number on my cell, but there is nobody on the other end when I answer! I have waited, thinking I would politely inform whoever it is that I'm on a DNC list, but the caller never speaks to me. So I tried calling from my house line (which is NOT through Verizon) and an automated voice asked if this was my Verizon number. ?? Since I felt that it may not be a legitimate call, I hung up. Just got another call on my cell, again, no one there. So I blocked the call. Probably won´t do any good though.

You're a dumb [***] American the economy Sucks even though the government will tell you different.   Some people were able to pay when they signed the contract.  Maybe they lost their jobs or something .  Think twice before you judge [***].
