Got a call from this number at 6:15 AM, knew something was up.  Did try to answer, but nothing there when did.  After checking, it appears to be from Antigua/Barbuda.

Me too! Only got one call but had a similar call last week from a different number. I tried calling back the first time but I just got "Your phone is not authorized to make this call" and then it hung up. I didn't bother with it again.

My wife and I just got a call from two similar numbers from the same area code at the same time. Mine only rang once and hung up, she answered and heard no reply, just silence for a minute then they hung up. Strange.

Rang 2 times. Then hung up...oh well..

This had been happening to me off and on for the past month or so and they've all been a few different numbers from weird out of the country numbers. I've read that it was a scam... so please do not call or answer.. add it to a block call list on your phone, and if your phone doesn't have I've download an app that can do that for you... Mr.Number is a good one.

Just received a call from this number also.  I missed it, but didn't matter as I didn't recognize the area code.
Decided to google the # and found this site.

There is a missed call scam where a number will ring twice, and when you call back on your cell they clone. Don't call back! I prepay, so its not worth it for them, but contract numbers is what they want. And they send money through the contract. So watch your bills.

Thank you, Donna!  I spent a lot of time researching this the first time I got one of those calls.  Just got my second one last week and was wise enough to ignore it.  Wish I'd read your advice before I tried to return the first call I got!

I just got a call from a similar number as well... Used my better judgement and didn't return the call, instead I googled the numbers location and found this. I did shop at target during the breach and I'm wondering now if there's a link as well. I'm a sprint user and at this point all I can do is trust in my carrier.

Just got a one-ringer from this # too - at 7 am on a Sunday.  268 area code is in Antigua and Barbuda Also got one last week from another number that when I googled it said the # was from Japan.

just got the same call. 8 am sunday. home phone though
