Sounds like a scam to me. Recorded voice warns that this is my last courtesy notice before they close the file on my acct. Warns that I must act now to get 6% interest.

Call received from this number -- no message left.

Some called from this number  but didn't leave a message. the caller ID says LOWER YOUR PAYMENT

a scam implying that my credit cards are in peril and that they can save me. LOL. I pressed "1" as instructed and told the man who answered to have s*x with himself.  As the economy declines, the scams increase. BEWARE.

get this every night. I call back and it answers w a recording to enter 1 to remove me from their barrage, but they still call every night. One night I answered it because their message makes it sound like it could be related a credit card you have. But the guy was an idiot and had no personal info about me. He also would not let me talk to a supervisor.

It's a credit card interest reduction scam.  If you press "1" to speak to a rep, they'll ask you how much debt you have on credit cards and what interest rate you are paying.  To screw with them, I explain that because I didn't expect their call I'll have to go get the information from my files.  Of course, they'll hold because they're a bunch of pond scum looking to turn a quick buck.  I then put the phone down and go make a sandwich, watch TV, check my email or some other unrelated BS.  Eventually, they'll get the message.  If you really want to have fun with them, tell them you have maxed out all your cards and then list a bunch of store cards like Sears, Macy, etc.  They can't help you with them (they'll only do major credit cards like Visa and MC), but it's fun to have them explain repeatedly that they "won't be able to help with that one."  Bonus points if you use a fake accent to really annoy the sh*t out of 'em.

actually answered the phone.  press 1 to speak to a rep.  spoke to a terry (man.)  asked him how he got my number and I was not rude about it.  He hung up.  checking my caller ID, this is the 3rd time they called today.(good gomment, six guns)

Just got a call from these d**chebags too. Caller-ID says "Battle Creek MI".  I used tothepoint's link to the FTC but got redirected back to the DNC Registry site to file my complaint.  Complaint filed.

to hankr: Someone else sold your email address and phone number to them.  That's how they get them.

Got this call three days ago.  Caller ID sais "Utah"  I pressed 1 to tell them that I want my name off their list.  They hung up before I could finish talking.  Called again today and caller ID said "Lower Your Payment".   pressed 1 and proceeded to tell them  not to call me, but was again hung up on. Another website says they are out of Battlecreek, Michigan.

The Caller ID for "Lower Your Pmnt" should be Lower Your Bank Account. Scammers that violate The Federal and State DNC list shout out that they are up to no good. They can not dodge the laws by saying that you have done business with them or that they are a not for profit. A crook is a crook is a crook.
