What is this?

it is a collection agency for a bank card or visa...

I have received several calls from this number and when I answer, there is no one there.  I hit redial and they answered "pnc may i have your account number?"  This is not a debt collector as all my bills are paid on time.  I just told the person "you aren't tricking me" and hung up.  The banks tell you never to give out your account number and also that they will never ask for it.  As far as I'm concerned, it's someone out there scamming innocent people.

This is PNC bank collections. They are nice compare to other collections.

I don't not have any credit card debt so that one doesn't float. Must be scammers...

It might be PNC, but I've had no debt with them for four months.  The calls started about a week ago, and I get up to 7 a day.

If this IS PNC, they're being very unprofessional.  If it's not, then they're not covering very well.

They can identify you by your phone number. Spoke with a Nancy. Very helpful. Called mad as he$$ but she was actually pretty helpful.  Was falling behind so they have a program where you lose charging priveledges but get a low rate without being late and bringing credit down(any further)

If it is PNC, then i don't understand because i do not have a card with PNC.  moreover, whenever the number calls it says, "accept call from....(daed air) ....to accept press 1, to send to voice mail press 2.

regardless of what i choose nothing ever happens.

On June 23, 2011, it was PNC bank letting me know that my credit card payment was late, and doing it very nicely. This was the first time that I've ever been late on it, and the caller was nice enough to remove my $25 late fee.

I receive 15 to 20 calls a day, as well as the same amount on my husband's company phone....They never leave a message.....They just keep calling and calling......The first lady I talked to was nice.....The lady today was extremely rude......I told them to not call my husband's company phone again and they still do........They call late at night and Sundays too....They are relentless..............

I also pay my bills on time every month, so this is definitely a scam!! If PNC had a problem with anything related to bills then they would contact you by mail or e-mail. Don't be a fool and give away your information!!!

They never leave me a message either, and it is because it is a scam. Also, you cannot call the number back, so that doesn't make sense either! I told them that the next time they call I will have the police investigate them and find out what is really going on.... Haven't heard back since :)

WHen I call the first thing they want is my 16 digit account number.  I do not believe this is PNC calling.  I talked with the phone company the other day and they said people can actually "hijack" names and numbers and they are not from the actual institution.

It definitely is PNC calling. You can call the number back. Anytime your payment is late or if a electronic transfer did not go through, they will call you. Sometimes up to 7 times that day. If you have doubts, call them from the number you have on file with them and they will let you know why they are trying to get a hold of you.

PNC Bank - They bug the hell out of you but are actually half way decent on the phone comparably.

Got a call today.  Didn't answer and no message.  I have never had anything to do with PNC.

This number belongs to PNC bank in Michigan, USA as of this message posted on 1/22/15. They ask you to call back at 1-800-544-3623 Ext. 34655.
This particular time, they called my cell phone number I have had for over 10 years on multiple times spanning several years.
The name of the person they were looking for is Jessica Louwe (unsure of spelling) as was stated in the voice mail.
I personally called them back on a landline and had them remove my cell number from their contacts list.
If they call again, I will update this message.
