This guy has called my house 4 times in the past 3  months, and each time it shows it came form a different city.  Fulton KY today - Owensboro KY 2 weeks ago.   He says he is from the Fraternal Order of Police and wants donations.  I told him 2 weeks ago not to call me again, so today when I ran inside from the yard to answer the phone,  I chewed him out.  He tried to tell me that it was somebody else who had called me before, but NO..... same voice.  Why would somebody connected with the police break the law and call people registered on the state and US no call lists anyway?  SCAM!  Makes me sick.

probably not a scam, the fop hires a company to call and try and collect money for shop with a cop. the company that calls gets a larger share of the money than the fop does but some of it gets to good places.

Not sure what the point of this “scam” call is for.  They call multiple times a day, if answered nobody is ever on the other end and hangs up in 10 seconds.  If called back it is an automated message of a woman “thank you for your call, we are currently closed, we will keep in touch, goodbye” and hangs up..!!

Mark, your a good scam artist yourself.  The fop sends out letters in the mail and publically announces it that they DO NOT hire people to collect any money EVER nor do they accept donations of any sort.  The fop are budgeted within the cities grants and federal subsidiaries and grant funding.  The fire dept also does not EVER call people askinh for money..  these are scammers!!!  Mark probably works for them and answers random scam alert comments as apart of his day to day scheme to steal money from innocent people.  Or he is just not the crunchiest pickle in the jar..  meaning he could just be dumb, ignorant, slow or all the above..
