That's what I did hear before I slammed on!

Missed the call from this number so I called back. A recording said to press any digit to be removed from this list. I still don't know what the call was about. Since the call originated in KY and I'm several states away I assume it was just a marketing or scam call. I'm blocking the number now.

How can they keep calling when I am on the DNC list?

DNC lists only apply to specific types of calls and are easily circumvented.  A lack of enforcementment doesn't help matters either.

Ive been getting calls from this number. I called back and it asked me to press any number to be removed from the list. I pressed 1 and it hung up and locked my phone up. It seems to be be a scam and could possibly have spyware attatched to it

there should be a list of people who want to be called and not the way it is now.  

ust got a call on my cell, 207-883-3858 telling me they are the FBI and they will be in my area to put signs on my yard and to pay them for the signs. I called the FBI in Albany to report it. The agent said it's a scam, and to call 871-382-4357. I called it and since our Freaking govt is shut down they won't answer the phone till the damn govt is back in business. Just wanted everyone to know if the FBI calls you with some BS tell them to Fu** them selves!!!!!!!!!

I did not request a call from this vendor but do not want association on my cell phone.  I have blocked it but pay for that service.

My phone lines have recently received calls as well from another phone# ending 3857 & this # ending 3858. That's a major problem when my phone# is DNC/UNKNOWN/OR MY NAME IS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE PUBLISHED DUE TO AGE OF CHILDREN USING PHONE LINES.

Here is what you do.  1.?Take a snapshot of the screen on your cellphone, or take a picture of your CID box with your cell phone. 2. Research and try to find an address of the actual place of business.  3. Go to your local court (you can do Magistrate or Circuit).  File a lawsuit!  FCC and the Federal Givt passed a law called the TCPA (telephone calling act for simplicity).  Which means, all you have to do is show that they called you, and for EACH time they call, it is punishable buy a $2000 filr (at least here in WV it is $2000).  

There is no defense they can provide.    The law clearly says that ANYONE who calls your CELLPHONE (home phones do not count under TCPA), who does not have your clear and written consent to call you, and yes that means your bank, your insurance carrier, your hairdresser, your kids school, etc, they shall be in clear violation of the TCPA act.

Just got a phone less than a week ago. I only gave my number to 5 people and this wasn't one of them so I didn't answer. Assume its a telemarketer/scammer. Kinda the same thing way I see it. They totally suck. Thanks to this website and everyone's comments about this number.

Also got call, didn't answer.  Call back says press number to remove, but i didn't bother.

They are just marketing of some kind of security alarm system.

I received today one call from this number on my incoming Skype account.

This number called me today and I missed the call, they left no message so I had no clue who this could be, I decided to Google the number and this and a whole lot of other blogs had popped up for the same exact number and everyone is saying the same thing. This is wild.

This number called my office phone twice last night, once at 7:50:01pm and again at 7:50:05pm. It's not often I get calls that late at night since I'm in the I.T. Dept so I looked up the number. It will be a blast to see them come put signs out on the lawn in front of my work place and try to charge the CEO.
