i got a message on my phone today at 3.22 pm on thursday from this number  447851616277 saying                  CONGRATULATIONS YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON FOR YOU $2000.000USD IN THE FREELOTTO MOBILE DRAW. TO CLAIM,SEND YOUR NAME&MOBILE NUMBER TO; FREEPRIZE@W.CN  can someone please tell what this  is

Same message as all the others, ie 2 Mil USD winnings on freelotto mobile draw but a UK number - +44 701 741 4445.
Where on earth do they get my number ? - I'm in Melbourne Aus.

I got one just then but it seemed so suss. Said same thing. "CONGRATULATION! YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON FOR YOU $2,000,000USD IN THE FREELOTTO MOBILE DRAW.TO CLAIM,SEND YOUR NAME & MOBILE NUMBER TO: freeprize@w.cn" I googles the area code of the number that sent it and it came up with the isle if man as the country... So I looked up the site that it asked me to send my details to, and it was an Asian hotmail site... So dodgey man. I'm from Victoria Australia and am way too switched on to fall for this kinda thing... Tell me another one scammers! :)

Numbers are just selected randomly. They don't know who or where u are... Which is y they ask for your details :) don't stress

I received a message this morning from this number, this is the message verbatim 'CONGRATULATION!!!YOUR MOBILE NUMBER HAS WON FOR YOU $2,000,000USD IN THE FREELOTTO MOBILE DRAW.TO CLAIM,SEND YOUR NAME & MOBILE NUMBER TO:freeprize@w.cn' I knew it was a scam immediately from my former training as a telelotto agent. What we learnt- no.1- you cannot win money in a lottery you did not enter into. No.2- if they ask you for money to cover so-called fees or taxes, it's definitely not genuine. This is what most likely would happen after I send my details, they would entice me with saying how much my life is going to change by receiving this money and then they'll make you feel almost ridiculous for not paying such a small fee relative to the winnings. And that 'small fee' (can be in the $1,000's) and this is how they make their dirty money

this is the 2nd time this has happened to me 1st time i was naive i paid but lost a lotta money go get a real job u no good shameless people.only politicians can scam us & get away with it.life is hard on its own without scammers trying to swindle you too..cut it out you deceitful people

I'm in Sydney and just got the same message but from the number 447586793259. So obviously a scam. I'm with Vodafone and wondering if this has something to do with that whole information leak fiasco from earlier in the year?

i got the message for the freelotto in Canberra Australia.... itis from an overseas number, i will never trust anything that i did not enter in Au.... with an ABN number.
