Some credit card interest lowering scam. Do not call does not seem to work for these people. I will report to fcc. I answered just so I could cuss them out but it was a recording that said to press 9. I did and some foreign person said something. I hung up after awhile, maybe they will have to pay ld charges.

Foreign person wants to lower credit card that I do not have. Fourth call on this AND I am on the do no call list. Am angry!

I get a call from this number about twice a week.

Received a call from 279-000-2985 today and when answered there is a recording that there is an urgent message from my credit card company. It instructed me to press "9" to speak with a live agent. I pressed "9" and was connected with a person, who identified himself as Shawn Sampson, who asked me if I wanted to lower my current credit card balance. I asked him what company he was with he stated "Card Membership Services". I then asked which credit card company he was with and he stated that "they handle all cards that have a VISA/Mastercard logo at the bottom", he then asked did I have a balance larger that $5000. I asked him to specifically tell me which card he was calling about and then he hung up. I then attempted to call him back at 279-000-2985 and I kept getting a recording stating "We're sorry you call cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number and try again". I rechecked the number and called back numerous times. I kept on getting the same message. I will report this to the FCC and recommend that all who has had received the same call to report as well.

Goat a call on my cell phone instead of my home phone from a restricted number...offered to lower my credit card interest rate.  I asked her what company & she replied "card membership services"   I again asked what card & she replied they handle all Visa, Mastercard & Discover.  I asked for a number to call her back & she hung up.  Seems like a scam!

I get these calls every day!!!!  I do not carry a balance and even if these were legit., I want them to stop!
When they called the other day, the notice on our TV said "scam"!!!  F.C.C., please do your job.
