This was another attempt by Capital One Auto Finance to contact me as another anonymous phone number.

Holy Land Foundation  HLF, Calls and asks me for a donation of $5 to $100.00.  The person is male with a strong Arabic accent.  Please stop calling.  Helen D.

Capital One Auto Finance - they keep using different phone numbers (from TX, NY, GA, AL, etc)

I think this was Capital One.  They usually identify themselves, but the phone just said Texas Call.

I receive numberous calls since to 09/12 to current from numberous area codes, 817, 708, 706, 443, 972, 281- all are from Capital One Auto Finance and I dont  have an account with them.

Capital One Finance.  We changed our number because creditors would not stop calling us nonstop for people who did not live at our house.  This did nothing but transfer different creditors looking for a different person.

You can't change your number; you will just get the last guys problems.
You can't block your number; they find a way around that.
You CAN just ignore them; but they call every 20 minutes.
You CAN do what we did; just disconnect the line and let the phone company suffer one more customer loss.  Cell phone numbers are more numerous and you are less likely to get "another person's problems".  Landline companies, however, basically say "Sorry, but there isn't anything we can do about it.  Would you like to change you number agian (for a fee) and receive a fresh list of creditors and harrasors that you don't know and don't do business with?".

Don't use numbers that don't tell who you  are or no one will answer you.  This is ridiculous.  No message.  No one there when it is picked up.  totally annoying
