Caller id shows TECHRADIUM.  I did not pick up call nor did the caller leave a message.

I had a pre-recorded message about a property tax amendment.

suspect same as other, for tomorrow is voting day and property tax is a big issue.

I received a call from this number last night on my cell. There was no ID on the call but the message was from a local School Of The Arts inviting me to a performance. I have no idea how my number became connected with this school though. I have read on other sites that others found theirs to be calls from schools also. I'm on the 'no call' list...how do these things get through?

its a company that makes recorded phone notifications to the call list of whoever hired them.

It is an automated phone service. I got a message from my daughters school. My thought is that it is a bulk calling method. It seems to be used by government entities rather than solicitors.

Ditto on Donna's comment.  I received a recorded message from a local school principle stating school is closed tomorrow due to weather.

I got a call from this number and it was from my son's elementry school reminding us that school was starting. I got another to remind us about a school holiday. It always leaves a recording on my voicemail.

I got a call stating "the school is closed due to a gas leak in the kitchen" but it didn't have a school name and I don't have any kids in school

We received a call from this number and we didn't answer. After looking at these comments, we suspect it was about a school closure since all schools in this area were closed due to an ice storm last night...

Well how do you remove your number? I just got this phone and right away I get a call about some Maverick school. I called the number back and it goes to some guy's desk.

I left a message saying to please remove the number, but it obviously didn't happen.

I can understand if it's meant to protect our children, I have no problem with that whatsoever. I just wish that everyone update everyone on when their numbers change, this is just becoming a garble of misinformation and an annoyance

This was an automated call regarding our daughter's high school going on soft lockdown, due to an escaped convict in the area (!).  We didn't pick it up because the caller ID wasn't recognizable to us, but they did leave a message in our voicemail.

This is a massive recording about school information.  There was a fatal accident involving a student at my son's school.  The recorded information was informing us of this situation and that counselors were on hand for the students.  VERY IMPORTANT INFORMAITON ---   NOT A SCAM   ---

Was a call from my sons school (alltho it showed the call comming from Surgarland TX) and we are not in Texas. Must be the Automated service thats based there.

Got a Text Message on my Verizon Wireless cell phone from 320-75.  the message said I had an "IRIS alert. Please call 281-207-4890 to listen to your alert"

Received a Text Message on my Sprint cell phone from 32075.  
The message said:

(SelectLink):IRIS alert received. Please call 281-207-4890 to listen to your alert.

Called and it was a pre-recorded message from my local union.
