I received a call from a man named Richard Jones from Law and Investigations saying that I did a payday loan in June of 2010 and that I was being sued for non payment and that I need a lawyer and he would call me back for the information. I did not do a payday loan in 2010 and I am not paying anyone for anything. This is like the 4th time I have gotten these calls and I wish they would stop

I also have been getting calls like this. Does anyone know how to stop these calls?

I have been receiving calls from someone--I can't understand much of what he says in the message but does state that he is calling from Law and Investigations and it is an urgent matter. I know that I do not have any outstanding debts so I will not return the calls and he ends the message by saying something about all he can do is wish me good luck and something about the situation unfolding badly. It's a bit creepy. He has been calling my work phone number and my cell phone at least once a day, if this continues I will need to report it.

I am getting numerous calls at home and work from a man claiming to be a Richard Johnson an attorney at law...he doesn't even tell me what its about other than a lawsuit is being pressed against me...first of all he doesn't even sound like a Richard Johnson...the man sounds east Indian or Pakistani...he is harassing me and I am tired of it

I receive these calls on a day to day basis and they even call family members talking bout i owe them, i told them if they wanted me that bad they would be knocking at my door not harrassing me over the phone.. one guy got real nasty and personal and i played him at his own game and he hung up and had a lady call me. she's very scary, because all i tel lher is that im reporting her to the police and she hang up quick.

I received about 10 calls and emails from this number, just today, not saying all the week.  They are driving me crazy, I guess I will need to change my phone number.  He still has my work number, how could I stop them from calling here???? They can not be understood and use english common names as there name.  I ask them to learn to speak English and get a real honest JOB.

I have also been getting a call from this number saying that I got a loan from US cash advance and I'm being sued and have a warrant out for my arrest. I've never had a cash advance and all they are telling me is that when the arresting officer comes to my home he will have further details. I called the local police department and they called the number for me to tell them to stop calling me...so hopefully this works

I have received calls from a man from this number as well as another number. It sounds like the same man and it is the same message from both numbers. The man's accent is hardly discernable. The first couple of times I answered and told him I could not understand him, learn to speak proper english and hung up. He immediately called back and continued to do so about a dozen times that day. I changed my phone number to an unlisted number. After about 6 weeks he began to call again on my new number and cell phone. The man says he has my social and says it's a serious matter and wishes me luck if I do not return his call. This to me is a threat to myself and my family. I will be calling the police and possibly FBI to get these calls stopped.

I just received a call from this number and the guy said his name was Gary Jones and he was looking for my sister and that she had some legal problem and if she did not contact him, WE BOTH would have to appear in court.

Not sure but I am calling my carrier now to block the call, he called me to go after my sister and she had gotten numerous calls on her cell and at work. I just dont want to go through this now.

Yes they are a BIG scam! I already reported them to the fraud dept they are very annoying!

I have been receiving these calls for the last 3 months and have filed a complaint with the attorney general's office.  There advice to me is to not answer the phone.  She also advised that they would change numbers that they would change numbers from which they would call.  Furthermore, she told me that that this has been going on for over a year and the information they were using was bought from another agency.  

All I want is the calls to stop...it is hard enough to pay what I do owe.

I am getting the same calls from this fake company. They call me every day several times a day. I would not send these clowns a $1 because it sounds like the worse scam someone can try to pull. I have been told that officers will come to arrest me every weeK. I asked them to mail the information to me and they say that they can not but they continue to ask me to fax my credit card number to them.
First they told me $8,000 and now they want $300. They say they are officers and I ask for their badge number and they hang up.

I am getting calls from 281-220-8455 every day several times a day. This company practicing fraud because at first they told me they were calling from The Federal Crime Division. The federal department does not list a department by this name. They once represented themselves as law officers from Denver and they were sending someone to arrest me. They have cursed me out in a language I don't even recognize and I can't understand much that they are saying. I did manage to get an email address ending in yahoo.com and I told them that the government does not use yahoo as a company domain. Now I have another email address it is americanlawdivision@usa.com. I sent them an email and they will not respond. I am beginning to think this is a bogus company that someone got a few social security numbers and is trying to take advance of that. I have started calling them on a daily basis to harrass them and it helps sometimes. They hang up on me and don't call for a few days and then it starts all over. I would not send them a $1 for anything so they may as well have me arrested.

I have been getting the same kind of calls. They sent me an email posing as the FBI and made various threats. My advice to all of you is to report it to your State Attorney General's office. I have submitted a complaint to my state attorney general's office.

These people use several phone numbers. The latest number is 347-753-8183. Do not send them any money. I contacted my State Attorney General's office and they have been receiving a lot of complaints. One important note from the Attorney General, do not send them money.
