I received a call from this number on my cell phone, November 17, 2011.

Phone rang once from this number, answered it, no one there.

Phone rang once, they hung up after that one ring and before I could answer.  Don't know who they are just yet...

Also should add that I hadn't been receiving scam calls for a while until early one morning when I accidentally answered a number I didn't recognize (317-472-8016).  They've been calling every 2 to 3 days now.  As I suspected would happen, once they verified that my number was valid, they shared it with their fellow scammers.  

What an inconvenience, to have to constantly be aware, and not answer any unrecognized number, no matter who we may be doing business with that may occasionally call from a number we don't know.  Then forcing them to leave a voicemail so we can determine their call is legit, all to keep scammers from sharing our numbers, blowing up our phones, and using up our costly minutes.

That is theft, and the government Do Not Call registry is useless. Only legitimate businesses abide by it and scammers don't care because they reroute their numbers through proxies that are almost impossible to trace.

got a call from this number and i answered it...they hung up on me..i am sure it is a scam..

Have a missed call from this #, no voicemail. If they don't leave a voicemail I take it as a solicitor. I hate that they can call cellphones now. Especially at 7 in the morning...
