i keep receiving phone calls fro this number to a number that doesnt even belong to me but it belongs to my dads house. threatening to arrest me in 24-48 hours if i dont call back. i got news for the their in texas and im in tennessee so bring it on. i called back and threatened to call the police on them if they do not stop harassing me.  a "officer james williams" is what the guy keeps calling himself.

I just received a call from this guy as well saying there are 21 accounts being brought against me under my social and if I dont call back all my rights are being waivd.....who is this guy? And how the hel did he get my number?  I dont know anyone personally in Texas im up in Boston

I received a call this afternoon at work from the same person, James Michaels, saying that me or my attorney need to return their call before the end of the day.  Called them.  Said it's regarding a payday loan and a returned check from January 2010.  Said a warrant is being issued and I will be arrested once they submit the paperwork to the judge.

lol. how did he get our info and this tie his name was investigator john anthony. what a dumbass. i have 2 accounts. check fraud (i dont even have a checking account) and internet fraud (not sure what that one is either.  "in tennessee, check fraud is probably the most serious than anywhere else."  get a life buddy.  isnt it illegal to call you at work? (which they did today).  the number except for the area code was different.  the old number has been disconnected now.

exact same thing they told me. mycashnow.com was the website he said about the payday loan that i never got. and a returned check for $925 from 2010. said once paperwork is given to judge, i will be arrested. well since i am out of their jurisdiction, bring it on!!! i told the i would call back at 3pm today to resolve it. i never called and they never called me. james michaels never had me arrested after i threatened to go to police. besides the local constable would come to your house to give you options to pay whoever it is if its legit.  he hasnt showed up at my house yet so.. they dont just arrest withuot just cause.

I also received a call yesterday on my cel phone but the call was about a relative of mine.  After hearing his crap - I decided to call HIM back later on (using a fake name), trying to get some information about his company.  He gave me some phoney baloney story about how he couldn't give me that information and -- did I have a case number"???  I'LL GIVE HIM A CASE NUMBER ---- RIGHT BETWEEN THE EYES!!!!. I continued to question HIM and he finally told me that he was going to "terminate our call".  Before i hung up, I called him a jerk and a scammer.  I hate these people who try to prey on poor people, especially because some people probably believe these IDIOTS.

The idiots called back at my work today with a different number this time. 2841049671. This guys about to go to jail.

thanks so much for posting your experience with this pohone number.  I had  a similar message saying there were 2 felony counts being filed against me if i don't returm the call with a case # asap.  I have been getting these calls for about three weeks referencing payday loans from 2010.  I have no such loans.  Where are they getting their info?  How can it be stopped?
