called me and hung up, I called back several times and they would just hang up on me. weird,,,

The phone rings. You click talk and hear an open dial tone--nothing else.  If you call the number back, all you get is a busy signal.  The name on the caller ID is Margarita Garza. I don't know if they are selling, seeking donations, political, or just obnoxious people because no one is ever on the line.  They just need to stop.

This is an Boiler Room operation , run possibly in connivance of Houston Police Teamster Union.
They Call you under several names. The following are what I have been called for.
1.Coalition of Police and sherrifs
2.Teamster 8-Local 911
3.Missing Children of Houston.
4.Fund for Court Defence of Police Officers
5.Houston-Local Amber Alert Fund

On checking with the houston police, they said they have no knowledge of such an operation. This Operation is possibly run by ex-cops (Possibly Suspended / Fired By the City ). The Person who calls always says he's officer so and so (A different Name every time ). But the voice is the same.
This is possibly a scam operation. for eg;The Amber Alert is funded by the state of Texas with your Tax dollars, It doesnt need private fund drives to fund it.!!

I received several calls from this number.  I live in the Houston area.  I have been involved in the Amber Alert, and the person whom called me said that they were taking donations to support Ambert Alert, I explained my work with Amber Alert.  He hung up.

A man with a foreign or faked accent called claiming to be with the "Federal Order of Border Police" ( doesn't exist). He asked for me then hung up. He was asking very personal information. I called back blocking my number, nobody answered. This call is from the Houston area.

I got a call today from this number, the person was rude, and demanding, he said he's with the united health care, He refused to give me any further information and hang up,,,

got the same thing caller id say margarita garza and asked to speak to someone in particular and when told was not here just hung up if try to call back it rings someone answers and hangs up anoying
