I called the number and the recorded message said they are the American Center for Law and Justice.
But each time they call me, there is no sound on the line when I answer. They said they would stop calling if I pressed one now, but, it will take 30 days for it to be removed from the system.

Our policy:
Will not do business with companies that use repeated phone of fax calls.
Will not contribute to organizations that use repeated phone or fax calls.
Follow this policy and they will stop.

The recording says we're sorry we missed you and we will try again later.  Something about protecting civil and religious freedoms blah blah blah. I have a feeling they are looking for donations because they said they are a non profit. If they are looking for money they are hitting a dead end with me because I have a hard enough time paying my cost of living expenses due to being disabled.  Now...as far as protecting civil freedoms.....how about they abide by the DNC and stop bothering people.  They are encroaching on my civil liberties by dialing my number when I am on the DNC list ffs.  Yes, I know that the DNC sucks but if they want to protect civil freedoms they can start by leaving people alone.

No one on the line - I did not answer because I thought I recognized it as a number selling duct work cleaning.  They left no message.
