"Unknown name" on caller ID. Called back no answer.

This number keeps calling me.  If they can't be bothered allowing Caller ID to say who they are, then I can't be bothered picking up the phone.

this number came up as unknown name. they hung up after 3 rings.

Phone solicitor trying to solicit contributions on behalf of the Texas State Troopers Association. I requested my number to be removed from their call list. Rude response as you would imagine. I reported the incident directly to the Texas State Troopers Association.

How much do the 3rd parties take from these contributions? Even if the non-profit organizations receive 35%, they consider that 35% better than nothing at all and normally turn a deaf ear...

NO VOICE ON THE OTHER END WHEN ANSWERED THE CALL. HOPE THE ECONOMY RECOVERS SO THESE CALLERS GET A DECENT JOB

Same thing.  I answered after 3 rings and no one was there.

This number was someone calling looking for money for the Texas State Troopers Association.  They keep calling (and from other numbers as well) harrassing folks for money.  They make the listener feel as though something bad will happen to you if you don't donate money to them, like your donation is protection money.  I've asked them to stop calling in the past, and they persist.  The caller ID just says "Houston TX".

Solicitors for the Texas State Troopers Assocication.  Good luck @ getting them to stop calling.  I have removed my name several times and added it to the federal do not call list.  They still call sometimes as many times as 6 times a day.  DO NOT give them money.  You are better off just going down to your local DPS office and giving them the donation.  At least you know it will get to them!

Got call with this number appearing in my caller ID. When I answered it an automated voice said "we will now connect your call". I hung up immediately.

Called @ 5:27 AM January 1, 2011 Woke us up!  When answered it said it would now connect the call so hung up.

Got a call from this number at 3:21 am. Caller asked me to hold on the line while they connected me and then I got disconnected

I received a telephone call from this number at 4:00 a.m. on 01/02/2010.  I did a reverse call but got an answering machine.  I tried to leave a message but voice maill box was full.

Called at 3:30 am!!!
