i have been getting calls from this number since 5 days and today its been more than 10times i got call,i have voip phone
and i called them to find out if v can bar the call and they said either o can change the number or report to local police
i guess whoever is suffering from this harrasment should report to local police

My call ID is full of this one number... How do I make them stop.

I am getting calls from 301-392-8181.  Caller id showing DHANUS.  Can somebody how can I stop.  I called this number back, but nobody picked up.

received call from 301-392-8181 on 11/19/2007.   Caller asked for Becky, told him she doesnt work here any more, asked who he was with, would not say.  Told him not to call again.

Today, I too got a call from this number. I called again to know who has called. No one has answered this call.

I also got several calls from this number. When I called back no answer. But finally I got hold of them. It is from telemarketors from India. Calls to India
cheaper. Some freedom calling plan or something like that. I told him to take out number from the list and since then I did not calls.

I got a call from this number...somebody from India told me that calling from convergia.com and saying unlimited calls to india in $69.99 nas telling me crap things

I got call from this number yesterday. The guy told me his name is vinod and this is regarding the unlimited calling to India for $69.00. He also said there is no hidden charges, no taxes and no cancellation fee. I thought this is a very good offer as I spend like 300 bugs on India calls every month. When I asked for the webisite he said its convergia.com but cannot sign up through the website. I have to sign up on the phone. I asked him to call me back after 2 days. But after seeing above comments I doubt their legitamacy. Can any one who have subscribed tell me about this calling card.? thanks.

I blocked the number from my home phone using the #61 feature, but they changed their number and continued calling.  Unfortunately I can block only up to 10 numbers.  Hopefully after the 9th attempt they'll get bored, or get the message.

Called me twice. First time he spoke to me in Tamil and he told me he is from Chennai, India calling on behalf of Convergia. I asked him to send me the information over the mail and gave them my personal id . so far no mails and someone else called me again and i told him harshly to take my name out his calling list and he hung up. B*****s. I think these people get the cc number if possible and cheat. noting more.

he called me again just now..but i did not pick it up now...

Even though i'm not responsible for your so called harrasment
i sincerely apologize for what "i" was blamed..

Fact is the that all the telemarketing calls will be through software based internet phone
where we people don't even know whom we are going to speak with untill we get the
details poping up on the computer screen.since its automatic dialing....the software is
desingned so that it will redial that number automaticallyafter some time untill  someone on the other end responds.

my kind suggestion to avoid your implicit frustations..
1. register your number with DNC
2.pick the call at least once and respond..(for we are also humans.)if first time no one responds make a note and disconnect the next time.  
3.l request do not  use unneccessary languages if you are not interested tell us and we will stop calling you by removing your name.


and my humble request..all the above said are truth. and if you feel i'm contradictory by any means in so sorry.... i know that if you are not there i won't have job here. i'm really proud of you... so forgive and suggest me what to do instead discussing among yourselves.
