Apparently this is a new one...I just got a call from an unknown number (301-547-3251) so I let it go to voice mail.  It claimed to be from some financial attorney office, calling in regard to a need for my legal representation's phone number in conjunction with a case posted to the county's records today.  Um...there are no proceedings against me be it civil nor criminal...nice try jerks.  If anyone like this calls you, don't give them ANY information!

They told me the same thing and the lady who answered my call was rude.  I kept asking her what day the money was deposited into my account and all she would tell me was you need to pay 854.71 today of you will be going to court and possible jail and then she hung up on me

This company is fraud and a scam which somehow is able to get prior legitimate loan information.  They claimed I owed $1000 on a $300 loan and that they needed my attorneys information to serve papers - (really?... have these morons never been made aware if the civil claim process and how notification of suit is served?).  I immediately logged onto the account they claimed they were collecting on behalf of and of course, verified the loan was paid in full back when agreed over two years ago.  Visit the following link and remember NEVER to even communicate with any of these pathetic criminals and always ask for a written Letter of Validation to be mailed to your address on record and hang up.

    Tired Of It
I have received several messages over the past few days. Several from Michael King, and several from a lady, with the same message wanting my attorney contact information," as there was a pending affidavit being uploaded to the state". They sound real official. At least they don't have foreign accents threatening to come and arrest me. I have had a lot of fun with those calls. I am sure there are some people who will be scared out of their wits and will pay them what they ask for, not realizing it is a fraud.    Even if these guys are remotely legit they are not using the fair collection practices, and they are probably working off old outdated debts that may or may not have been paid    Just don't be afraid and don't fall for the scam.....

I have been receiving calls from this people for over 3 weeks now, I finally set my smartphone to send all the calls to voicemail, but today I answered the phone without looking at the number. The woman on the other end said I owed for a payday loan that I never repaid, she said the original loan was $300 but now I owed $1000 because when the loan was not repaid it went into default interest rate of 600%. She wanted me to set up three payments of $346 over the next 3 months, she said that if I didnt give her my debit card info and set up these payments, that they were downloading paperwork to the county attorney today, which by the way is the same thing the previous unanswered messages have said over the last month, I told her no, I would contact an attorney and she got mad and hung up on me. I called our local sheriff and he said it was a scam, and that if they called back to give them his name and number and let them talk to him, Dont even answer the calls, what a scam to rip hard working people off.

I got a call from the same number.  Her # was 301-547-3251 and her name was Victoria Scant (spelling?) with Financial Litigation Services.  She said this is the 2nd attempt to obtain attorney contact info for the affidavit being uploaded to the state.
Please contact them at the number 301-547-3251

Well apparently these people do not know how the legal system works.  I am a paralegal and you “do not upload an affidavit to the state” and they would not need your attorney’s information to serve you as they would serve you with a summons and complaint by a process server.  Since I have been a paralegal for over 20 plus years I do know what I am talking about and I WILL be reporting them to the federal trade commission for fraud.
