I keep get a call from this company looking for my mother, but would not address why they are calling or how they get my cell number.  my mother and I live in different states, so I do not know how they got my cell number associated with her.

Received a call from this particular phone number 301-842-8632 at 7:54 PM and Caller ID displayed SSI
After listening to my VM, it's a company called Survey Sampling Institute calling to participate in a survey.
What type of survey? Who knows
Number is now blocked

Received a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon.  They wanted to conduct a survey about my current phone service.  I asked how they got my information since I was on the do no call list.  Lady said that my information was part of public records.  I told her that I was on the do not call list and she said that list is only for telemarketers and that this company was a survey company. Annoying!

SSI on caller ID...phone rings and they hang up

I got a text from this # and I don't know who it is!

Some dumbass survey company rang 3x picked up busy signal. Called back some dumbass recording saying go online opt out with phone number. Did one better blocked them out

Got call few days ago from this number- no one there when I picked up and said hello. Caller ID said SSI. Upon search belonged to Survey Sampling Institute. Never heard of it. Some of this has been noted by other "callees". A few days ago got call from SSI again but from a different number= 301-969-2056. Again, No conversation took place. Got call from 301-842-8632 again today. This time got to talk to someone. It was a youngish woman whose name I could not understand, she was garbled. Even after I asked her to repeat it I could NOT understand same. At least she made an attempt at "telephone courtesy". Said she was doing a survey and asked some personal questions that did not pertain to me and I gave her some inaccurate answers.. I informed her that I do not do surveys over the phone and she could mail the questions to me. She declined saying it would take a couple of months to tabulate all the answers and hung up on me. Surprise.  Since when do these intruders think that they have the right to invade my home and expect a welcome in.

Postscript: they have really gotten clever. Using computer generated numbers so they can use any number they wish. By using our home area code they disguise their number as a local number so we are duped into thinking it is may be someone we know and answer the call. Very clever. "Weeeellllllll", we will have to get clever too. That's "aaallllll folks".

Called several times with different numbers but the caller is identified as SSI.  Blocked one of the numbers already.  Will block others when they call.  These jerks needs to get a life.
