Treasury SCAM claims you owe money! DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!!

SCAM say's  they are us treasury

these guys ,actually its always the same voice have been doing this for a few years now. I dont get the point.  he has been the IRS ,Treasury Dept, and anow he is calling to inform   lol

IRS US treasury dept scam.  Same voice different name every time.  Claims you owe money & threatens with legal action.  You call number back & always busy...hum what's the point?  Annoyance? Ugh!

Left message on answering machine claiming to be representing the treasury department and Said I owe them money, SCAM!  Have also received a different call on my cell phone saying they were the IRS and I owed them money ,SCAM . I think I've received them all and yes We're on the do not call list .

Mr David Christ calls every day.  He left a message on my answering machine.  He doesn't give the name of who he is contacting (big red flag).  He the goes on to say there is an enforcement action by United States Treasury for - Doesn't State the Reason (another huge flag).  Our local police dept has actually posted a worning that the is a big IRS scam going on.

They said:

The IRS will never:

·         Call to demand immediate payment, nor will the agency call about taxes owed without first having mailed you a bill.

·         Demand that you pay taxes without giving you the opportunity to question or appeal the amount they say you owe.

·         Require you to use a specific payment method for your taxes, such as a prepaid debit card.

·         Ask for credit or debit card numbers over the phone.

·         Threaten to bring in local police or other law-enforcement groups to have you arrested for not paying.

You will always get a mail notification.

Got call from this number 302-238-2060 saying he is from the Sheriff's Department regarding case of importance and disregarding call could end up in jail time and encourages to call back the number. Obviously a scam call from scammers who threaten people to call back the number. Threats are not made by Law Enforcement.

Said they were dept of treasury

Its flavour is best described as ‘neutral’ with a hint of vanilla.

How does this scam guy get away with calling this recording for so many years?

just now.... A mid age male voice, recorded, saying he is David Gray (?), calling from US Treasury (?)...

we don't owe any tax, so i found this call with recorded msg is suspicious and then i found this site.

Have received multiple calls from this guy.  I called him back today and played stupid.  Then I called him a [***] and he hung up.  Called him back to tell him I reported his throw away cell phone number and scam to the police.  Now when I call back, no connection.  I think we should start calling him!  What a diouche!

I have received several calls .....this is a SCAM!!!!

I got two calls from this guy and know it was scam. But how do we stop him and cost him $ so he will not get any benefit from these calls?
