Voicemail left said it was credit card security following up on unauthorized use of card, requested us to enter credit card#, tel number was 302-286-5252.

who wants my card # and why. no authoration was given.

Got an automated call from this number saying my card from a credit union was suspended, and that I needed to speak to their security department to reactivate.

Problem I have with it?  I haven't had an account with that credit union in over three years.  The account is completely closed!

same story as the above comments, got call Saturday night. Got another call today. A new # is calling  from "British Columbia Canada" # 778-373-1934. I noticed the 1st comment is from Michigan, I am also from Michigan. What can we do to get these people caught? Im about to report it to  the local news. This is a sad time when people are so desperate to scam hard working people.

i received a call from these jokers ... something about a bank credit card.  i hung up.  obviously a scam.

302-286-5252 IS A NUMBER TO A FRAUDULENT GROUP STEALING CREDIT AND DEBIT CARD INFORMATION POSTING AS YOUR BANK, CREDIT UNION, OR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. DO NOT RESPOND BY PUTTING YOUR CARD NUMBER IN...THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY..BEWARE BIG TIME. I JUST REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE AND MY CREDIT UNION.

I just received a call from this number also.  The automated voice said they were calling with regards to a credit card from a bank I used over 15 years ago and two last names since.  They also wanted to send me to their security department, but when I punched in 0 for a human person I was disconnected.

Just got a call from this number saying that my card was deactivated and that I needed to reactivate it.  Hopefully no one follows thru with it.

I just got an automated call telling me that my Golden West Credit Union card had been deactivated. However, I do not have a Golden West Credit Union account, so I hung up. Then I decided to see if there was anything online regarding the phone number that called me.

I got a call from them saying my card had been deactivated and that i needed to reactivate it and to press 1 to transfer to the security dept.

I just recieved a phone call from this number and didnt recognize the odd area code, figured I would look online and see where it was from and found this site. how do they get our numbers?
