- ScottThis is the first time I have received a call from this number, my voicemail is not set up and I usually just ignore numbers that I do not know.
- AnonymousI picked up the first time, and they hung up on me. They have called me two more times today, and I just hit the ignore button. It has been VERY annoying. This is the second time in the past couple weeks that I have had a random out of state caller.

- Call type: Telemarketer
- Hana| 1 replyThey have called me several times too and today the guy I spoke to was very inappropriate. Told me I had a sweet voice and he really liked it, also asked if he could get to know me. What I did for a living and if I got on facebook...when I told him he was making me feel uncomfortable and to not ever call me again he just hung up. What company is this and how can I get them to stop calling?

- Carolynthey have called me about 15 times over the past 3 days. Tonight they called and my husband told them to remove our number. He said why and my husband told him that it didnt matter why just to do it. They hung up and called back3 more times finally calling a 4th time with in 10 minutes. I filled our phone numbers with the FCC and now have to wait 31 days to have our numbers totally blocked.

- j3014 calls today from this number- an Indian call center saying I won either a $100 or $200 or $150 gift card for Walmart or JCPenny or whatever. They say it's a customer appreciation gift for using my Visa card. I give a false name and address and they don't say anything about that. They say I "only" need to give them my credit card number 'starting with the number 4' so they can charge either $4.95 or $2.95 shipping & handling to mail me the gift card.
I give them the first digits of my Visa, but I change the last 7 or 8 digits and the expiration date. They immediately type it in and say that there must be a mistake, can I repeat it, etc. I ask who they work for. 'Amber' said it was USA Benefits in L.A., 'James Davis' said it was Care Xpress in Phoenix.

and try to put a stop to these scammers. And have a little fun on the call, see how long you can keep them on the phone & how many credit card numbers they'll try. Ask them what city they're in, ask them what company they work for, ask them for the company phone number, ask them why their company is so nice that they give away free money, and then ask them if they can believe all the rain (in whatever city they said they were in) today. Enjoy.- Caller: Care Xpress / USA Benefits

I received 5 more calls after that and it is only 12:30 pm. The last call was at 12: 20 pm, I had spoken with a gentlemen, when expressing my frustration he became very nasty and short with me because i wanted to be removed and not called....All the phone calls received had a heavy Indian Accent.

- Pissed off cell phone ownerHas anybody had somebody use any texting apps for ipods or iphone texting you? A friend of mine is using a texting app for the ipod touch recently texting me and I got a text from him saying 'you have won a 100 or 200 dollar visa giftcard" so I think its safe to say these people are getting our cell phone numbers from these texting applications as well.
It is pretty weird how I have no minutes on my cell phone yet these people still call me, and I am not going to answer and get charged for going over my minutes.- Caller: Wilmington Trust co
