I received a similar message threatening court action against me. Told me I needed to.purchase a debit or gift card, they do.not accept checks or mail in.payments. They will file a case against me

Did not identify funny themself as a debit collectors. Said he was an attorney and will file,a claim against me on 17th unless I purchase a debit card g r $200.

This is our third attempt at trying to get in touch with you. (They never say who is the "you" person and demand your social security is one they have on record.) I would LOVE to talk to these people.

same thing just happened to me...call came from 786-870-1053 then told me that this is the third documented attempt they have tried to reach "you" but they never say who 'you' is,  and that I must call them  at 302-428-9378 by 5pm today or charges will be charged against me. I can consult an attorney

Sorry...i messed up they said they are from (nam) northern alliance management is like a secondary debt collector..
It wasnt from the tax scam but i also had been getting those also..

Also call his debt supplier plaza services aka mla group need be and help stop the illegal tactics. Same deal...threaten lawsuit and contact them by 5pm today or face legal action. I pressed 1 to get someone on the line to demand they remove my number and the phone was answered Northern Alliance. Probably some junk debt collector with wrong numbers threatening anyone they can. I asked that they remove my number.

Yep, same thing as you guys.  Third attempt to contact as all means are exhausted and that it would  be referred to an attorney here.  Funny thing is that the message starts out as this:  This is the third attempt to reach .....................    Yes, they don't even say my name...it's just blank.  So for all I know, even if this is a serious attempt and I was supposed to be afraid of them, they don't even say who they want to speak to.  Stupid automatic recordings.  Nonsense and I thought threatening legal action was illegal.
