First call stated a complaint had been filed against me and to call them back with the provided file number.  Next day same number calls and states that if I do not call them ASAP they will come to my house and/or job.  My older mother is now freaking out and scared to death!!!!

So what was the end result who are they creditors?

A recorded voice called and left a message stating that there are 2 charges against my son and that they will be pursuing him at his place of work and residence. Left a file number. I tried to call the number they left and nobody answered went to voicemail. I just hung up.

It's a recorded scam. Much like the IRS phone calls. Intended to scare you into giving them your hard earned money.

Sorry they worried your Mom.  I have no outstanding debts or complaints and rec'd one. SCAM!

Also, this number calls three times per week with recorded message. Does not even sound like my name.
