Repeated calls for an individual not at this address. Very nasty people!

Getting repeated calls from this number - does anyone know who this number is?

ok i gave in n answered. good thing cause this bank is fing up my good credit! a had moved and i owed vic secret $20 n i moved and they faild 2 change my address was sent 2 this [***] bank...now its 62. plus 7 2 pay it over phone. total dicks! they hadnt recieved any of the mail back and i never received anything, so who knows if the people at my old add threw out bill..n i doubt that happened, people r usually courtious about not messin w other peoples mail...so i guess its all my fault cause i never called number on back of card. immagine that [***]. u ever heard of forwarding system at po, it works weel n even has return service reqeusted so that people get yr new add. ..huh funny??? i canceled the card 2 say the least n paid the robbers 70 buks...ill nevr use a card beside my visa again. sorry 2 all [***] robbing banks!!!! ya wont get any more of my loot. thanks n good luck 2 ya. they also had sum to do w lane bryant, n a couple other. so call n find out if ya dnt want yr credit ruined

i got a call from them this morning before 8 they have been calling at the same time every morning lately. We wish that they would quit calling. We have no idea who they are or what they want. and could careless. Could you please tell us how to block this number.

These guys are jokers. They claim to be "the world bank".
They originally called from  303 255-5025, caller ID reports as ADS.
They called yesterday and asked for Lisa, I informed them there is no Lisa at this number.
They called from the 303 number again today, I informed them again there is no Lisa here, when I asked why they where calling they hung up on me. I called them back at the 303 number and they again stated they where the "world bank" calling on behalf of Victoria Secrets.
The gentalmen on the line asured me there would be no more calls to my number.
15 minutes ago, they called from 943 563-5502 (Caller ID reportining Unknown) claiming to be the world bank again, looking for Lisa, of course.
Informed them I would be calling the Atourney General if they called again.
I will be calling Victoria Secrects tomorrow morning and letting them know what is going on. If they are indeed affiliated with VS, maybe VS will end what ever type of relation ship they have with them if they hear from enough of us.
I am sure I will hear from them shortly.

They call Sundays and Saturdays at 7am, Mondays at 1130 at night, we are tired of it already! This is ridiculous! They are asking for a member of my family and I ask who is it and what is it for and they either hang up on me immediately or say "ok, bye". Is usually a lady that calls, and boy they sure don't know when to give up. We are sick and tired. I hope this ends SOON or I'll have to change my phone #. If someone knows how to block this number -and others!- please let us know. Also 303-255-5054 and 303-255-5104 have called with the same Caller ID

These people have been calling my work phone at all hours of the day.  I come in and first thing in the morning i already have 3 missed calls.  they must not be calling for the US. I don't know who they are because i never get to talk to anyone. They always call in the middle of the night and at my work.  REDICULOUS!

NCO Financial uses WFNNB to harass NCO debtors. If you are an NCO debtor and you answer the phone, no one will respond. Call will automatically terminate.

The number called this morning on my emergency work cell phone. I did not answer because it was not a local number to me. No message was left by the caller.

I keep getting calls from this number.  The thing is that my phone does not ring but it comes up as a missed call on my phone.  I was reading all the other posts and can relate to the fact that someone from VS is calling, but I am also getting bills still from VS which I am paying off slowly.  So why would I be getting calls from them?  It does not make sense, and if they don't leave me a message on why they are calling then I won't call them back.  Any ideas?

Its NCO- but its illegal for them to not state who they are. If you have a capital one card, they call on behalf of capital one.

Getting calls now up to 10 times a day (from different numbers). Caller ID's used are:

When I call right back (from the cell phone they call, or from a different number/home phone line) I get an automated announcement stating that "WFNNB" (World Financial Network National Bank) is the "company" I'm calling (with the remark that the call could be monitored or recorded....

Since I don't know anybody working in these states (call centers?!), and since I don't have any charge cards either, I would assume this is a scam or simply telemarketers.

Have to check how they got ahold of my (very new) cell phone number.... especially since I have registered my cell phone on the national "Do-not-call-list"!

They call constantly and never leave a message. I don't answer calls from strange numbers..So they should let me know who they are. blah.

Have the same problem.  The caller is WFFNB out of Columbus, Ohio, although you will get calls from them using other numbers & cities, such as Denver, Colorado.  They'll leave no message.  It's a collection agency.  I have no debts, but have a new phone number that apparently belonged to someone who did.  Call the FCC & get a reference number, then contact your states Attorney Genrals Office & have them send you a "Consumer Collection Practices Act Complaint Form" fill it out & get it notarized.  Ask for a list of others who are having the same problem & see about a class action lawsuit.  If your local TV station has a help line, notify them.  Contact your congressman & check into the possibility of legislation...remember, your votes put them there.
