Called on the day after Thanksgiving.  Did not leave a message.  I have relatives in Colorado and I thought it might be one of them.  I am on the on the do not call list.
I do not care to be bothered with solitations.

the above number called me an hour ago! (day after thanksgiving) Also has called 6 times in the last 3 days. left no message. I will take action if it does not stop.

Has anyone been able to identify the owner of this phone number?
I too keep getting calls from this number without a message being left.

This number called me and as usual I picked up the phone.  Was a man indicating my child was injured at school and was sent to the local hospital.  Gave me this fright story about how he is being airlifted to large surgical center in city and was calling for insurance information to authorize emergency surgery.  After going over insurance information, I was told that the insurance was not fully covering the emergency operation and that my son would have to left without surgery until funds could be obtained.  I argued, got nowhere.  Finally, was told that I could would be allowed to make a payment to company and that my insurance would reimburse me--thus allowing my son to immediately enter surgery upon arrival via airlift.  Long story short, my child was never injured and was happily sitting in his class at school.  Person on phone was very good at keeping me online through-out the whole process with promises of directly connecting me to my son if I just held on throughout the payment scam.  In end I gave 123,342.86 dollars to these scumbags for supposed air transport, EMS services, Emergency room fees, surgical costs, post-op hospital care etc.  I was scammed and am no fighting to find these people.  If they call you--beware!

I started to recive calls from this number and similar numbers.  I haven't answered them yet but they do not leave a message.  This started a few weeks ago when I started to apply for several jobs on Monster and Careerbuilder. I'm certain that they are pulling numbers from those sites somehow.


Joan - there HAS to be someway they can track that number and where the money went.  I would contact the police ASAP.

I think they get your number from something you signed up or registered for. I must've given my number somehow. How do you stop them from calling you?

I get these phone calls a lot....On my caller I.D. It says ADS....what is htat?

File a complaint to the FTC.gov  If your number is placed on the do not call register it will take about 15-30 days before the calls should stop.  My number is to a fax machine so go figure....Times are hard and these folks are trying to scare you.  Don't be deceived. Take your life back, don't let circumstances derail you.  You are in control...

Call comes from WFNB   this is an Express woman account or Lerner GAP ... revolving line

This is also from World Financial Network who handles Domestications accounts, too.  They will begin calling at 7:58 a.m. and if you get on their case they will tell you they are allowed to call starting at 8 a.m., and their clocks show 8 a.m.!

It is World Financial Bank.  Pay your bill and they won't call.

JOAN, sounds like WIRE FRAUD.  I hope you contacted the police, state attorney general's office, FTC, or some kind of law enforcement.  Maybe this is a job for 4chan.org Anonymous forces.
