This number calls me everyday, in the late afternoon and there is never anyone on the other end of the call. When I call the number back it usually is answered automatically with message the mailbox is full.

This number calls every day and I let it eat voice mail, but it doesn't leave a message. Who is this?!

Me to. I get two calls a day from this number and no one on the other end.

I googled the number and it looks like it is from this computer.  How strange!!!  I have nothing to do with this organization.  See last number .

This number phones twice every night in the early evening, separated by 2 minutes and never leaves a message.  I answered it now for the first time to hear dead silence.

This number has called my cellphone repeatedly over the past three weeks, but never has left a message. I do not answer. My area code is 503.

I have been called by this number 13 times in the past week. I suspect it is political fundraising. Obviously, if anybody ever bothers to be on the line when I answer, I will never donate to whoever is seeking my money. I've wasted enough time fielding calls with nobody on the line when I answer. Stop wasting my time. I have submitted a complaint to the Do Not Call Registry, and advise others to do the same. My number has been on the registry since the day it was launched.

Every day of the week, never misses a day, always in pairs of calls, always lingers into voicemail, never leaves a message, never any audible sound when picked up. Meets the law enforcement standard for harassing calls, so I'll be trying that route.

This harassment now accounts for a significant portion of my total mobile phone usage.

They call every day if not every other day. It just started earlier this month (July 2012). I answer every time and each time there's dead air/silence. Lately I'll answer and then just leave the call active until they disconnect. When I do that, they call right back, which leads me to believe this is some sort of autodialer.

I'm already on the Do Not Call registry, so I'm going to take the advice previously given and file a complaint.

I thought maybe it was OnStar trying to upsell me because the vehicle I bought earlier this year is nearing the end of my free service. I haven't been able to confirm that, though.

The National Do Not Call registry doesn't apply to charitable fundraising, and Telefund is a fundraising firm.

Why do you suspect it's a political fundraiser?

I also get two calls from this number for the past couple of weeks.  So annoying.

I get 4 calls a day from this number.  My guess is that it's tied to a calling campaign for Pres. Obama. I seem to remember a call that I took and made a donation to having a 303 area code. I did send an email to Tele-Fund to see if they are the ones with a computer that is "on the loose"

I am swearing off donating to any political campaigns so long as this number keeps calling me.

I urge anyone being harassed by this organization to give them a taste of their own medicine:  Call the number and leave a long silent message on their answering machine.  I've left a few already, and I feel, in a very small way, the sweetness of petty revenge.

F*#king fundraising firm calls me up to a few times a day, every day!  What's even more idiotic is when I pick up the phone, there isn't even any response - live OR recorded!!!  So they are either just testing which phone numbers actually work (which I doubt) or they are just wasting a hell of a lot of money WHILE harassing lots of people in the process.  What a bunch of morons.  Their executives should all lose their jobs for being incompetent [***].

I just called this number back (after receiving pairs of calls twice a day like many others here) and got a message saying something to this effect: "If you received a call from us, we are trying to reach you in regard to a group you support. To have your number added to our internal Do Not Call list, please leave a message." The message went on to say that it takes 24 hours for the list to be updated, and that this mailbox is checked frequently. It ended with "You have a great day." Nice touch!

Anyway, I left my number on the voicemail. Probably naive of me; all I've done is confirm that my number is live. I'll see what happens.

Calls regularly no answer when I say hello.  Someone needs to stop them.
