Did not identify themselves or give the purpose of the call, just had "one quick question." Asked who the owner of the company is (mmm, no thanks), and what kind of business we were engaged in so they could update their records (mmm, we'll decline). Said they were affiliated with the University of New Mexico and that we had done work for them in the past (no, we haven't).

This number bothers a lot,even in the middle of the night -has a beep beep like fax request, no voice - it's  areal bother

It is a phone outfit posing as Qwest or ATT trying to flip long distance carrier service. They have high pressure agents trying to hurry the Customer to their manager to finalize the switch to lower rate service.

Said they were wanting to give "legal counsel" to my husband before he is served.  No reason given.  (There is no reason WHY he would need legal counsel.)  Gave an 888 number for husband to return call.

Call ID shows anonymous -- call back, you blank air space - no ringing. What is up with?

They keep calling several times a day.  Today It rang five times, I didn't answer until this last call I received at 7:09 pm.  I waited a few seconds for a connection; then a women spoke but not in english.  Then hung up.  This last Saturday this same number called several times.  I don't get it?  Why do they keep calling?  Who are they and what do they want!

Caller wanted to know about services we provide.  Said her name was Trista.  I told her a little bit about the company, but there was a large amount of noise in the background doubt she could hear anything I said.  I tried to call the number back after googling it.  The phone didn't even ring, just continued silence.

They called my husband's 92-year-old grandmother saying that he was in jail and they needed $8,000 to get him out.
She's a smart cookie and did not pay, but what scum.

First call on 01-11-12.  Second call on 01-12-12.  Didn't answer.  VM said he was Mark Wright, from "Northway" regarding 24/7 Green Street.  We were to call 1-877-888-1534 X6059.  Said to use a land-line.  Not falling for this crap, and neither should you!  The caller ID from 303-330-0995 from Brighton CO.  A late night return call (blocked) said "The wireless caller you are calling etc...Block your phone (*67) and light up both numbers please

P.S.  On the late night callback, it answered "the wireless caller you are calling" etc.  It is most likely a pre-paid phone, in which there is no chance of tracing as no records are kept.  They know this too.  that is why they use pre-paid phones...[***]!

The message left by this number said she was from the California Better Business Bureau.

A Colorado number for California BBB?

I had exactly the same call - today and yesterday on my cell phone and work phone. VM said he was Mark Wright from "Northway" and it was important I give him a call back on 1-877-888-1534 X6059.  Said to use a land-line

Called my number several times looking for Hanes Roemor.  Don't know this person etc etc..  Asked for them to stop calling, used 800 number to call them back and leave some nasty message, since they're bothering me ...  we'll see if they stop.

Called at 6:15am PT. Rang 4 times. When I picked up no answer.  They called our business line, which will also ring my cell.  Business line is a VoIP line, it showed the call back number in caller ID, cell did not  capture number in caller ID.

Caller with Indian or Pakistani accent said he represented the US govt and had a $6000 grant for me- knew my last name. I hung up. They tried again an hour later, didn't pick up.

Called me a few minutes ago (March 16, 2012) on my Canadian number with this question: "are you afraid of opeing your credit card statement?" Didn't identify the company name.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!  This number has called me several times and claims to be a person from Microsoft Windows.  The person will tell you that they are detecting an infection on your computer.  They will try to get you to go to your computer and "help" you fix the problem.  Basically, they will help you to infect your computer with a virus.

I got a call from a [***] Hector Perez asking that I call him back at 818-526-1205 which is a San Gabriel Valley, California number but the number on the caller ID was 303-330-0995 and that number is a Denver,Colorado  phone number. Who do these people think they are fooling?
