Called saying the matter is urgent, and they are taking out a lawsuit against me.

please find out who this person is they keep calling my job harrassing

got a call from my employer stating that they had called looking for me. Saying he was Officer Jim Wright from dept of law and investigation. I have NEVER taken a payday loan. Have applied but never accepted one. I am contacting the Tx Attorney General regarding this.

please find me why this number keep calling me they say that  some body  stole my Ss and my bank account and want to against me please help me

I am also receiving phone calls from this number saying I have a serious matter with them and to call right away! I dont know what they talking about...help!, going to the police with this matter

SCAM!!! Do not fax them any information. The guy got extremely defensive when I asked to speak to his superiors and then asked for my debit card information over the phone. I gave him the wrong info. I told him I wanted to see the report filed against me and he said I couldn't until I paid him 352.00 dollars. He said he would be persuing legal action.

This number called me today with the same story... attorney's office, lawsuit, threatening jail time, etc...  First I contacted my local FBI office, who directed me to the FCC for telephone scams.  If you get a call from this number please go to the FCC's website and file a complaint... If they get enough they have to investigate and get it stopped.

I got a call from these guys, Thomas Smith and , I can't remember the other name. But they say that I owe Cash net Loans. I know that they called last month saying the same thing and they got over 800.00 out of me. What should I do?

The representative called my house 19 times in one day! my daughter call and asked for a supervisor and got hung up on.  We called back and told them to remove our number from thier call list and told them if they called again that we would sue for harrassment. He asked if she was me and when she told him no he told her to have me call and hung up on her. We put our heads together, and after extensive research on people's reports these people are SCAM ARTISTS!!! I had applied for as a secret shopper on line and I was actually sent a personal check for $7,500. Long story short they wanted me to cash it and send money 3 different places and keep $400. Turns out the check was a TOTAL FAKE! It had the bank of america logo and everything! After taking it to the local bank of america they identified the address on the check and routing number and mailing address were all three different!!! I'm not sure if these people are all the same offiliates, but I'm calling tomorrow to block their number.

This number keeps calling me as well.  I never answer and they always leave messages on my voicemail.  So what I did was save these voice mail messages and called the number back several times from a pay phone and filled up his voice mail with his own demands ( I just played back his own message onto his voicemail)..I did not play the part where he says my name.  HA HA HA HA HA!!!

Received a call from an "officer" regarding a legal matter (strong foreign accent)...  referenced a SSN.  I disconnected the call--I continued to get calls from this number.

10/20/11--Received call from Office Paul Smith with Hopkins Law @ 303-351-9669 in regards to Case File # CWI150781. I was told that the was a payday loan out in my name and that there was a lawsuit being filed against me. "Paul" told me to hold for Mr. Anderson. When I spoke with Mr. Anderson he could give me no information. I told him that I had receipts from the payments that I had made to my payday loan (I actually had one back in 2009, paid in 2010). I located the receipts and before calling him back, I did an internet search for Hopkins Law and the phone number provided. Everything that came back from the search said it was a scam. I then called back to speak with Mr. Anderson. He got very defensive when I told him I had my receipts and that all searches on his company came back as scams. He then told me "if you don't want to pay then I'll see you in court." Then he hung up on me.  I called back and was told that Mr. Anderson was busy. I asked the guy if I could get the name, address, phone number, fax number, supervisors name, etc. of the company that was "taking me to court." He then got very defensive as well and tried to dodge me, saying that he could not give that information. I asked to speak with his supervisor, stating that surely there was someone there with the power and authority to help me with my questions. Since he clearly was not in a position of power, I needed someone who was. This infuriated him. He started cursing at me and yelling. It is clear that the people are scam artists.

I called the number and the man said his name was Mr. Anderson.  i am reporting to Oklahoma Attorney General.
