This is either a scammer/fraudster or a telemarketer. An authoritative voice tells me to contact Bob Johnson immediately and gives a phone number. I know of no such person and told them to stop calling me but he kept calling. Perhaps this was a robo call. This was the second such call I received with exactly the same script.

Received recorded solicitation call saying they want to collect my past due accounts for me.  I am on do-not-call list.

Said that their name was John Franklin and Capital Accounts and that they specialize in the collection of overdue accounts, and said to call 800-282-3214! Also said that they are calling to see if we were having any challenges delinquencies! also wanted to collect my accounts for me too, scam most likely!

This number called our home.  Listened after we said hello several times they hung up. When we called the number back it went straight to "please hold". It showed up as DENVER CO.

Answering machine message (paraphrasing) that "This is John Franklin with Capitol (Capital?) Accounts. We specialize in collection of overdue accounts. Are you currently having trouble with deficiencies? I can be reached at 800-282-3214."

Called at 9:00PM Answered said Hello and they hung up. Also on Do Not Call List

Just called this number, 800-282-3214, to get them to remove our business number that they keep calling and no one is on the other end.  They have to pay for every 800 call that is placed to them.  The gentleman I spoke to was polite and said he would remove our number.  We'll see?

Received call from this number - asked for billing person or office manager - told him director was not in, asked if I could help, he said no, I'll call back - tried to say that we were government agency and he would need to contact Richmond, he hung up on me in middle of sentence.

I called him back TWICE to try to find out who he was and why calling and to let know we were a govt agency - hung up on me again.   Refused to give me name of supervisor or company.  Completely rude - even if we weren't govt agency - would never even consider doing business with anyone that rude.

They are a debt collector company that works specifically for medical offices, not sure if this helps.  I've been getting calls from them since my phone number is listed as a medical office....ohvey!!

They are a fraud! They claim to be in the area helping dental and medical offices doing collections. Once I mentioned, almost every call is a hang up. The guy says "Have a nice day" and hangs up.

The number has called us several times today, only plays some music, no one on the line.

Same thing just happend to me.  No one answered when I said "hello", just music playing and then a hang up!

Scam. I'm in the process of installing VoIP at my business and we have unpublished test phone #'s for the test period. These numbers are not listed and do not connect to any published business. I received this call on all 5 of our test lines at the same time (the lines are sequential) so I'm quite positive the call is robo generated. I wouldn't bother answering. The caller ID said 'LAFAYTLSVL CO'. Ignore it.
