Called 3 times now, once Sunday night, and left no message.

called today. Didn't pick up and have blocked now (I love my Panasonic phone with call blocking :-)  )

They call on my personal cell phone which I use for family emergencies only.  They also call when I'm at work.  I would prefer that they use an online survey. Obviously they do not want to collect any substantive demographic information since they use random dialing.

This phone number belongs to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and is used for conducting surveys from Colorado residents on issues dealing with the overall state of health and resident satisfaction of state health initiatives.

This is NOT a telemarketing phone number; surveys only.

Any legitimate organization would not continue to harass folks and they would respect the phone numbers of those on the no call list.  It doesn't matter whether you're selling an item or not.  If someone is on the no call list, they don't want to be bothered with ANY garbage calls.  Yes, that includes so-called random surveys.  PS..the quality of life in Colorado has ended up in the toliet bowl.  That's my anwer.  Consider yourself blocked.

I answered this call once, and asked him who he was..  He said he was taking a survey for the Colorado Department of Public Health. I told him that this was my family personal cell phone and we had all our phones on the no call. I asked him how he got this private cell phone number. He said they had software.  I guessed that they just randomly run numbers on a computer, and no bother to run them against the National no call list. I just hung up on him, and I would think that would be sufficient. However, since this call I have 6 more unanswered calls on my cell phone. This is ridiculous. If they have a random software, why don't they just move on. I don't participate in surveys anyway. What is with the Public Health department - harassing people on the private cell phones now. Bad enough when all they had was the house phone.
Surveys calls are par with telemarketing in my book, and these calls should be banned!!!!!!!! Stop calling people that don't care to participate in your surveys. Cell phones go everywhere, at the office, in my meetings, etc. You are just a nuisance!!!

Called on my cell phone at 8:30 P.M. on 01-21-14, asking for Gabriella, no one by that name has ever had this number. Why would someone from a Government office call at 8:30 P.M.?  I ask the lady that called to please make a note that their was no Gabriella at this number.

I received a letter in the mail saying they would be calling within the next few weeks. Here is what it said:
Survey for a important study conducted by the CO. Dept. of Public Health and Environment and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention The study questions cover general health status,health behaviors, and preventative health practices. The results provide information necessary for evaluating health programs,monitoring trends, and planning future activities to improve the health of Colorado residents. In order for the results to represent all Colorado adults, one random adult  member of the household will be selected to respond the survey. All of info collected is strictly confidential, and all addresses are permanently removed from database before calling begins. Questions or would like more info about participating call this # you just researched or 877 245 1949 Visit www.cdc.gov/brfss   I am going to take it when they do call or have my husband. LOL   This is to help us come on take a few minutes and take the survey and just think the calls will then stop YAY

Told the guy to NOT call me again, he called 3 more times within 3 minutes!

Now the state is involved in harassing citizens, thanks O'care!

The first time I picked up this call on my cell I asked where they had obtained my private cell number.  Caller did not know.  I voiced some concern (again) that this was a private cell and hung up.  I get about 3-6 calls per week now and have blocked the number.  I am disappointed in the State government for allowing this.

I would be happy to respond to an on-line survey but not on the phone.

The no call list does not apply to the Survey Research Program because we are not selling anything. We call at different times of the day and evening because of peoples' work hours, etc. We do not  try to aggravate anyone. They have been calling every day for days, and never leave a message.  Caller ID says "Colorado State Govt".  Please someone shut these idiots down.
