This phone number keeps calling me. The caller ID shows Broadvox Distribution. My wife made the mistake of picking up. They were very rude. They have called multiple times and I am not picking up as they are a telemarketing firm.

Just got this call, but didn't pick up.  Exactly the same number.

They are calling me almost daily and leaving messages. Wondering if they stopped calling once you picked up once. I'm tired of their messages on my do not call listed phone number..

Received a call today 4/11/10. An automated voice asked if this is ___. If so press 1 and if not press 2. I could not understand the voice and pressed 2.

This is a collection agency.... First National collection bureau is there name when I called them back. I just got the same number on my cell 303-785-5027.

they would not tell me why they are calling - I just pressed 2 instead

Received a recorded message that said, "We are looking for (name), if your are (name) please press 1 now....if you are not (name) pleae press 2 now.  

I wasn't the person, so I pressed 2.

Called ID said "Unknown Name"

They are calling from First National Collection Agency...First National Bank.

supposed debit that is over 12 years old.

Broadvox Distributors is actually Source Receivable Management a debt collection agency located out of
North Carolina.  It is illegal to spoof or use other names in order to collect a debt!

I got a call from this same number today 208-416-0179 and caller id says Broadvox Distributors.  No message left.

Receiving calls often, over a twelve hour day, do not leave a message except some music and a "Thank you for calling" message.

They keep calling, I keep telling them to stop calling. The "person" they are wanting to talk to does not live at our residence

You, sir or ma'am, are confused. FNCB is a legitimate collection agency, and if you don't owe a debt, just explain that; otherwise, thank you for showing how smart you are and how you can dig up old information. Perhaps they should hire  you to help find people who don't pay their bills. You sure had a full head of steam for a person who thinks he/shedoesn't owe anyone. Still, the law is on your side, if you bothered to research that, too, and you have the right to dispute a debt. An F rating with the BBB is meaningless. It is like a club to be a member in order to have a rating above a B, so many agencies don't respond to BBB complaints because they are not a regulator. They make you "feel good", but they are a mediator, with membership fees. But, you know that, because you're so smart. These other snake pit participants are their clients and not other names or entities, but you know that, because you are smart.

It is not illegal to collect past the statute of limitations, except in 5 states. The statute has nothing to do with whether you owe it or if it goes away, it has to do with whether or not you can be sued. They do not sue. They do not claim to sue. If you owe a debt from 14 years ago, you can chose to be a stand up guy and pay it, or you can be a whiner who thinks the system has impacted your life for the evil of it.

It is good that the internet is here for your ramblings. No one cares about your research, when it is inaccurate.

It is far better to encourage people to pay their bills, even if they are working out a lesser amount to pay it off, which is called a settlement. Maybe you have moved on to another hobby by now, but at least work on accuracy when you publish thoughts on the internet. Someone might accidentally believe you.

This company keeps calling my cell phone,t  andwhen I try to ask what they want, first they get nasty and then they hang up. Who are they and what do they want?
