Lighthouse Recovery. PDL loan collections

Sounds like a toothless and witless person.

They keep calling with no messgae every 5 mins. like it is on auto dial.  And when you call them back all you get is "thank you for calling LRA".

Asking personal questions about a friend I know acting as if she juat applied for credit

Called and told me that they've called & left several messages and to call them back to prevent further action.  I don't even know who they are.

Said they had a bad check for 1000.00 from a pay day loan.

teaches these thiefs what it is to be in jail.

They called asking for my sister saying she was a refference askin for her info and where she works, they are crazy, they better not ever call my fone again or its gonna b a major issue!!

You knew it was one of a few people...dont act innocent.

Received a call from this phone number today-8/23/10 on my cell phone #; no voice mail message was left.

Also called my work# and left a message to return the call at 1-866-520-1420; call Johnthan Edwards at ext. 4857 regarding a specific case #.  When I called the phone number, he said that they were with Lighthouse Recovery Associates in Colorado.  I will check them out on the web.

If they call you at work keep that recorded message and file a complaint with local authorities. It is against Federal Law for them to call you at work look it up on the internet. Every one should start asking their congressman to pass law that only where the loan originates should be the one to collect debt. ex. only Visa should be able to collect their debt not turned over to collection agency. This would help prevent fraud.

They got some nerve calling people's place of business 7 or more times a day with threats

They call me said I owe a payday loan company and that I need to setup pay via credit card over the phone. I agree since I not the payday loan company I do owe.

We setup a verbal agreement over the phone and they where supposed to send me an email on the agreement we made. I call them yesterday and spoke to someone who told me he had my name spell in all caps, that is why I haven't gotten the email. He said he will re-send the email to me.  I still have not gotten the email from them.

are they for real or a scam??

They call me several times a day and never leave a msg.  I have asked that they not call again but send info in the mail.  I have had no response in the mail and they continue calling and leaving no msgs.  they call all through the evening and persist.  I finally started calling them back consistently and this seemed to aggravate them.
